| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία παρουσιάζει την συνεισφορά του κλάδου κινητής τηλεφωνίας
στην Ελληνική κοινωνία και οικονομία. Η συνεισφορά είναι πολυδιάστατη, έχει
άμμεσα και έμμεσα χαρακτηριστικά που επηρεάζουν τα μεγέθη της σημαντικά. Θα
αποδειχθεί στην πορεία της εργασία, μέσα από την ενδελεχή μελέτη που έγινε, ότι ο
κλάδος έχει ίσως την σημαντικότερη συμβολή στην οικονομική ανάπτυξη που
καταγράφτηκε στην χώρα μας προ του 2010, χρονία κατά την οποία η οικονομία
εισήλθε σε ύφεση, επηρεαζόμενη και από το διεθνές περιβάλλον.
Αναφορικά με την συνεισφορά του κλάδου στην κοινωνία διενεργήσαμε μια
πρωτογενή έρευνα σε ένα σύνολο 70 ατόμων σε σχέση με την ικανοποίηση τους από
την χρήση της κινητής τηλεφωνίας. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι το
μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό των ερωτηθέντων ήταν ικανοποιημένο από τις υπηρεσίες
κινητής τηλεφωνίας, με το εν λόγω ποσοστό να μην έχει στατιστικά σημαντική
εξάρτηση από το φύλο και την οικονομική κατάσταση του ερωτηθέντος. Προέκυψαν
συμπεράσματα χρήσιμα για την χαρτογράφηση του προφίλ ενός δυναμικού νεανικού
κοινού, ώστε ο κλάδος να βοηθηθεί στην διαμόρφωση νέων ή βελτίωση υφιστάμενων
υποδειγμάτων τιμολόγησης προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών.
Ο κλάδος της κινητής τηλεφωνίας αποτελεί εάν από τους μεγαλύτερους και
σταθερότερους επενδυτές της ελληνικής οικονομίας, κυρίως σε υποδομές δικτύων και
τεχνολογίας. Η οικονομική κρίση βεβαίως οδήγησε σε σημαντική μείωση τις
επενδύσεις του κλάδου, αλλά και τον κύκλο εργασιών. Η μείωση του τζίρου
αποδίδεται από τις επιχειρήσεις του κλάδου στην οικονομική κρίση και στην
αυξημένης φορολογία, την στιγμή κατά την οποία, τα τελευταία οκτώ χρόνια, ο

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This thesis presents the contribution of the Greek mobile industry in the Greek society
and economy. The contribution is multi-dimensional, has direct and indirect
characteristics that influence the sizes of economy. We demonstrated in the course of
work, that the mobile industry has perhaps the most significant contribution to the
economic growth, recorded in our country before 2010, during which the financial system
entered a recession, affected by the international environment.
When it comes to the contribution of the industry to the society, the author undertook a
primary survey, consisting of 70 people, on the customer satisfaction derived from the
use of mobile telephony services. The survey’s results revealed that the majority of the
respondents were satisfied with the services they were receiving from their operators; this
finding did not exhibit any statistically significant dependence on the gender and the
economic status of the respondent.Emerging conclusions useful for mapping the profile
of a potential young people, so the industry can assist in the formulation of new or
improve existing products and services pricing models.
The mobile industry in Grecce was one of the largest and most stable investors in the
economy, particularly in the fields of mobile infrastructure and technology networks. The
economic crisis has certainly dented the industry’s investment rates and turnover. The
sharp drop in the industry’s turnover is attributed to the adverse effects of the economic
crisis and to the tax hikes in the Greek economy, in view of the fact that druing the past
eight years, the industry has achieved for its services the greatest price reductions in the
