| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διατριβή διερευνά το φαινόμενο της δολοφονίας χαρακτήρα, ως ακραίας έκφανσης του ρητορικού αρνητισμού, μέσα στο κοινοβουλευτικό πλαίσιο. Η έρευνα εστιάζει στην περίπτωση του πρώην υπουργού και βουλευτή του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, Παύλου Πολάκη, αναλύοντας τις ρητορικές επιθέσεις που εκτόξευσε και τις ρητορικές επιθέσεις που δέχτηκε κατά τη διάρκεια των εργασιών της Ολομέλειας της Βουλής των Ελλήνων στο χρονικό διάστημα Φεβρουαρίου 2015 - Οκτωβρίου 2021, όπως αυτές καταγράφηκαν στα πρακτικά των συνεδριάσεων.
Η θεωρητική διερεύνηση του θέματος ξεκινά από την κλασική παράδοση της ρητορικής τέχνης που ξεχώρισε το ήθος του ρήτορα ως ένα εκ των κεντρικών στοιχείων της πειθούς και διευρύνεται στη σύγχρονη μελέτη του αρνητισμού στον δημόσιο λόγο. Η έννοια της δολοφονίας χαρακτήρα αναλύεται στις μορφές που μπορεί να λάβει και διακρίνεται από άλλες συγγενείς εκφάνσεις του αρνητισμού. Περαιτέρω, το θεωρητικό πλαίσιο περιλαμβάνει την επισκόπηση του κοινοβουλευτικού λόγου ως ιδιαίτερου πεδίου άσκησης του δημόσιου λόγου.
Με τη χρήση κλείδας παρατηρήσεων γίνεται ποιοτική ανάλυση λόγου στα επιλεγμένα αποσπάσματα ρητορικών επιθέσεων. Αναλύεται η δομή των επιχειρημάτων, ταυτοποιούνται τα ρητορικά φαινόμενα και σημειώνεται η στρατηγική στόχευση κάθε επίθεσης. Η έρευνα συγκεφαλαιώνει με παραδείγματα τις μορφές επιθέσεων δολοφονίας χαρακτήρα που εξαπολύει ο Παύλος Πολάκης και αυτές που δέχεται, ενώ σημειώνει και το φαινόμενο της ανάστροφης επίδραση του αρνητισμού. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This thesis investigates the phenomenon of character assassination, as an extreme manifestation of rhetorical negativism, within the parliamentary context. The research focuses on the case of the former minister and MP of SYRIZA, Pavlos Polakis, analyzing the rhetorical attacks he launched and the rhetorical attacks he received during the proceedings of the Hellenic Parliament in the period February 2015 - October 2021, such as these were recorded.
The theoretical investigation of the subject starts from the classical tradition of the art of rhetoric that singled out the ethos of the orator as one of the central elements of persuasion and expands to the modern study of negativism in public speech. The concept of character assassination is analyzed in the forms it can take and is distinguished from other related manifestations of negativism. Furthermore, the theoretical framework includes an overview of parliamentary discourse as a particular field of public discourse.
Using field notes, a qualitative discourse analysis is performed on the selected passages of rhetorical attacks. The structure of the arguments is analyzed, the rhetorical phenomena are identified and the strategic targeting of each attack is noted. The research summarizes with examples the forms of character assassination attacks launched by Pavlos Polakis and those he receives, while also noting the phenomenon of the reverse effect of negativity. | el_GR |
