| dc.description.abstract | To θέμα με το οποίο θα ασχοληθεί η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή είναι οι λειτουργίες και οι τάσεις του πρωτογενούς και του δευτερογενούς τομέα παραγωγής στην Κύπρο με έμφαση στη μεταποιητική διαδικασία παρουσιάζοντας μάλιστα τα συγκριτικά πλεονεκτήματα των ντόπιων Κυπριακών προϊόντων. Παρουσιάζονται στοιχεία και για τους 2 ανωτέρω τομείς τονίζοντας τα προβλήματα που παρατηρούνται στον καθένα αλλά και τις ευκαιρίες που υπάρχουν. Επίσης, γίνεται λόγος για τη διακίνηση και την πώληση στον τελικό καταναλωτή των έτοιμων προϊόντων μετά από τη μεταποιητική διαδικασία και παρουσιάζονται τρόποι με τους οποίους οι μεγάλοι λιανέμποροι προσπαθούν να μειώσουν την εξάρτηση από τις πολυεθνικές μεταποιητικές εταιρείες αλλά και πως οι μικροί παραγωγοί και οι μικρής κλίμακας βιομηχανίες μπορούν να επιβιώσουν σε ένα άκρως ανταγωνιστικό περιβάλλον που κυριαρχείται από τις πολυεθνικές. Τέλος προτείνονται τρόποι για την περαιτέρω βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη του αγροτικού αλλά και του κτηνοτροφικού τομέα στην Κύπρο. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The topic that this postgraduate dissertation will be deal with is functions and trends of primordial and secondary productive section in Cyprus with big emphasis to food processing and present also the comparative advantages of local Cypriot products. It’s going to be presented some data for both of the above sections and highlight difficulties for each one but the opportunities also. We are going to speak about also the transport and sale process to the final customer of ready products after have been processed and propose some ways that big retailers try to minimise their addiction to multinational manufacturing companies and also in which way some smaller producers and small manufacturers could survive to such a high competitive environment that is dominated by multinationals.
