| dc.description.abstract | Στην εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση ο ρόλος των τεχνολογικών μέσων και ιδιαίτερα της ηλεκτρονικής πλατφόρμας που παρέχει ο εκάστοτε εκπαιδευτικός φορέας είναι αδιαμφισβήτητος. Η χρήση της ηλεκτρονικής πλατφόρμας έχει ως κύριο στόχο την άμβλυνση της απόστασης μεταξύ εκπαιδευτή και εκπαιδευόμενου και την ακώλυτη διεξαγωγή της εκπαιδευτικής διαδικασίας.
Στην παρούσα μελέτη γίνεται προσπάθεια να διερευνηθούν οι απόψεις των φοιτητών του Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου (ΑΠΚΥ), σχετικά με την αξιοποίηση της πλατφόρμας τηλεκπαίδευσης eClass του ΑΠΚΥ. Στόχος της μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι να μελετηθεί η συχνότητα και οι λόγοι επικοινωνίας των φοιτητών μέσω της πλατφόρμας τηλεκπαίδευσης με τους συμφοιτητές και τους καθηγητές τους και ταυτόχρονα ο ρόλος του εργαλείου της τηλεσυνάντησης. Παράλληλα, μελετώνται τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν οι φοιτητές κατά τη χρήση της πλατφόρμας και δυσχεραίνουν την μαθησιακή διεργασία.
Στη συγκεκριμένα έρευνα συμμετείχαν 81 μεταπτυχιακοί φοιτητές οι οποίοι απαντώντας σε ερωτηματολόγιο εξέφρασαν τις απόψεις τους σχετικά με την αποτελεσματικότητα και τις δυνατότητες που προσφέρει στους ίδιους η πλατφόρμα τηλεκπαίδευσης eClass του ΑΠΚΥ. Η ανάλυση των ερωτηματολογίων που συμπληρώθηκαν από τους μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές ανέδειξε πως οι φοιτητές θεωρούν ότι η αποτελεσματικότητα της πλατφόρμας τηλεκπαίδευσης eClass του ΑΠΚΥ εξαρτάται σε μεγάλο βαθμό από την ενίσχυση της επικοινωνίας και της αλληλεπίδρασης μεταξύ των ίδιων των φοιτητών αλλά και μεταξύ των φοιτητών και των καθηγητών και ταυτόχρονα από την αύξησης της συμμετοχής στη συγκεκριμένη πλατφόρμα. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | In distance education the role of technological tools and especially the role of technical platform which is provided by each educational organization is unquestionable. The usage of electronic platform could reduce the distance between the professor and the students and promote the unimpeded holding of educational process.
At the present study an attempt has been made to investigate the views of the students of the Open University of Cyprus (OUC) concerning the utilization of distance learning platform eClass of OUC. The aim of the dissertation is to study the frequency and the reasons that induce students to communicate with other students and their professors. Moreover an effort has been made to investigate the role of teleconference as a tool and the problems that students face while using the electronic platform which may impede the learning process.
In the particular research 81 postgraduate students participated, who responding to the questionnaire expressed their opinion on the effectiveness and the abilities of the distance education platform of OUC. The analysis of the questionnaires which were completed by the postgraduate students revealed that the students believe that the effectiveness of distance education platform of OUC depends - to a large extent- on the strengthening of communication and interaction between students themselves and between students and their professors. At the same time it can also depend on the increase of participation on the current platform. | el_GR |
