| dc.description.abstract | Το πρότυπο ISO 17025 "Γενικές απαιτήσεις για την ικανότητα των εργαστηρίων δοκιμών και διακριβώσεων", ασχολείται με την εφαρμογή των αρχών Διασφάλισης της Ποιότητας σε εργαστήρια δοκιμών, τα οποία επιδιώκουν να λειτουργούν ποιοτικά, και να παρέχουν έγκυρα αποτελέσματα. Με την εφαρμογή του προτύπου, τα εργαστήρια, αποδεικνύουν την ικανότητα και την τεχνική τους επάρκεια και τεκμηριώνουν την αξιοπιστία των μετρήσεων τους.
Η μελέτη αυτή προσπαθεί να αναδείξει τους λόγους που ώθησαν τα εργαστήρια στην εφαρμογή του προτύπου, τις δυσκολίες που αντιμετώπισαν κατά την διαδικασία αυτή, αλλά και τα οφέλη που απορρέουν, από την διαπίστευση, δηλαδή την επίσημη αναγνώριση του εργαστηρίου να εκτελεί καθορισμένες δοκιμές.
Η μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε, ήταν με την χρήση ερωτηματολογίων, τα οποία αποστάληκαν σε όλα σχεδόν τα ιδιωτικά και δημόσια εργαστήρια δοκιμών.
Όπως έχει προκύψει από την έρευνα, σημαντικοί λόγοι, που επιβάλλουν την εφαρμογή του προτύπου στα εργαστήρια δοκιμών, είναι οι νομοθετικές υποχρεώσεις, οι απαιτήσεις του πελάτη, ο ανταγωνισμός, η εγκυρότητα των εκθέσεων δοκιμών και η φήμη του εργαστηρίου.
Κατά την διαδικασία εφαρμογής του προτύπου, τα εργαστήρια αντιμετωπίζουν αρκετές δυσκολίες, με κυριότερες τις χρονοβόρες και γραφειοκρατικές διαδικασίες, τη δυσκολία στην κατανόηση και την τεκμηρίωση του προτύπου, το ψηλό κόστος, την έλλειψη επαρκών πληροφοριών, τη μη αποδοχή των αλλαγών από το προσωπικό.
Παρόλα αυτά, μέσα από την έρευνα διαφαίνεται ότι τα οφέλη που απορρέουν από την εφαρμογή του ISO 17025 στα εργαστήρια δοκιμών είναι πολύ σημαντικά και ανταμείβουν τόσο την διοίκηση όσο και το προσωπικό για τις ατέρμονες προσπάθειες του. Αναδεικνύονται η αξιοπιστία και η εγκυρότητα των εργαστηριακών δοκιμών καθώς και η φήμη του εργαστηρίου. Επιτυγχάνεται ανασυγκρότηση στους χώρους και στα καθήκοντα του προσωπικού και δίνεται ιδιαίτερη έμφαση σε θέματα εκπαίδευσης. Τυποποιούνται οι διαδικασίες λήψεως αποφάσεων, ανατροφοδότησης του πελάτη και αξιολόγησης των προμηθευτών, που πριν την εφαρμογή του προτύπου μπορεί να ήταν και ανύπαρκτες. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The standard ISO 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" refers to the implementation of the principles of Quality Assurance in testing laboratories in order to operate a quality management system and provide reliable results. By implementing this standard, the laboratories can demonstrate their technical competence and ability, the reliability of their measurements and results and, therefore, the quality of the services they provide.
This study aims to highlight the reasons that led laboratories to implement the standard, the difficulties they encountered during the process, but also the benefits obtained from their accreditation, i.e. the official recognition of the laboratory’s competence to perform specific tests. Τhe methodology of the project involved the use of questionnaires, which were sent to as many public and private testing laboratories as possible.
The main reasons for the adoption of the standard by testing laboratories are legislative obligations, customer requirements, competition among laboratories, the need for validity of test reports and the laboratory’s reputation/ prestige.
During the implementation of the standard, laboratories face several difficulties, the most important being the time-consuming, bureaucratic and costly procedures, difficulties in the interpretation of the standard and its documentation, the lack of adequate information and the staff’s reluctance to accept changes.
However, the responses to the questionnaire lead to the conclusion that the benefits obtained from the implementation of ISO 17025 in testing laboratories are very important and rewarding for both the management’s and staff’s efforts. The reliability and validity of laboratory tests and the reputation of the laboratory itself are highlighted. In addition, the reconstruction of premises and staff duties is achieved and a particular emphasis is given on education. Finally, the procedures for decision-making, customer feedback and evaluation of the suppliers, which were almost non-existent before the application of ISO 17025, are all now standardized. | el_GR |
