| dc.description.abstract | Η σημασία της πολιτιστικής διπλωματίας αποτελεί κυρίαρχο μέλημα για την εξωτερική πολιτική κάθε χώρας. Η Ελλάδα, δεδομένης της θέσης της στην παγκόσμια πολιτική σκηνή, ως γενέτειρα του πολιτισμού με πλούσια αρχαία πολιτιστική κληρονομιά, αλλά και λόγω της συμμετοχής της στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και σε παγκόσμιους οργανισμούς όπως UNESCO, έχει αναπτύξει μια πολιτιστική εξωτερική πολιτική, η οποία αποτελεί πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα περίπτωση για μελέτη. Η παρούσα εργασία φιλοδοξεί να παρουσιάσει και να χαρτογραφήσει την πολιτιστική διπλωματία της Ελλάδας στον 21ο αιώνα. Επιλέγουμε ως μελέτη περίπτωσης την έκθεση «Παρίσι – Αθήνα. Η γέννηση της νεότερης Ελλάδας, 1675- 1919», η οποία φιλοξενείται στο μουσείου του Λούβρου στο πλαίσιο των εορταστικών εκδηλώσεων για την επέτειο των 200 χρόνων από την ελληνική επανάσταση του 1821, και συγκεκριμένα πώς τα έργα που επέλεξε να εκθέσει η Εθνική Πινακοθήκη και η επιμελητική προσέγγιση λειτουργούν ως φορείς πολιτιστικής διπλωματίας της χώρας.
Αρχικά, παρατίθενται οι βασικές έννοιες και ορισμοί που χρησιμοποιούνται ως μέσα κατανόησης της πολιτιστικής πολιτικής και διπλωματίας. Ακολούθως παρουσιάζεται ιστορικά ο ρόλος της πολιτιστικής πολιτικής στην Ελλάδα, ώστε να μπορέσει να γίνει κατανοητή η παρουσίαση της σύγχρονης ελληνικής πολιτιστικής διπλωματίας, αυτής που η Ελλάδα ασκεί τον 21ο αιώνα. Έπειτα, προσεγγίζονται τα σύγχρονα θέματα της εξωτερικής πολιτιστικής πολιτικής της χώρας με αφορμή την έκθεση στο Λούβρο. Τέλος, εξάγονται συμπεράσματα, που προέρχονται από την ανάδειξη του αρχαίου πολιτισμού ενώ η έκθεση δρα ως φορέας πολιτιστικής διπλωματίας. Μέσω αυτής την έκθεσης πραγματοποιείται η τόνωση της εικόνας της, η προβολή της θέσης της στο ευρωπαϊκό και παγκόσμιο περιβάλλον μέσω της παρουσίασης της σύστασης της νεοελληνικής ταυτότητας. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The importance of cultural diplomacy is a major concern for any country's foreign policy. Greece, given its place on the world political scene, as the birthplace of culture with a rich ancient cultural heritage, but also due to its participation in the European Union and in world organizations such as UNESCO, has developed a cultural foreign policy, which is very interesting case for study. This paper aims to present and map the cultural diplomacy of Greece in the 21st century. We choose as a case study the exhibition "Paris - Athens. The Birth of Modern Greece, 1675-1919 ", which is hosted at the Louvre Museum as part of the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, and specifically how the works chosen to exhibit by the National Gallery and the curative approach operate as cultural diplomats of the country.
First, the basic concepts and definitions used as a means of understanding cultural policy and diplomacy are listed. This is followed by a presentation of the historical role of cultural policy in Greece, so that the presentation of modern Greek cultural diplomacy, the one that Greece exercises in the 21st century, can be understood. Then, the contemporary issues of the country's foreign cultural policy are approached on the occasion of the exhibition at the Louvre. Finally, conclusions are drawn, which come from highlighting, the ancient culture, while the exhibition acts as a body of cultural diplomacy. In conclusion, the exhibition stimulates its image, promotes the position in the European and world environment through the presentation of the composition of modern Greek identity- not only the ancient heritage- and the promotion of intercultural dialogue. | el_GR |
