| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή πραγματοποιήθηκε με σκοπό την ανάπτυξη ενός
ολοκληρωμένου επιχειρηματικού σχεδίου για την Εταιρεία Μεταφοράς Επιβατών
Λεμεσού, αναδεικνύοντας παράλληλα όλα τα χαρακτηριστικά και ιδιαιτερότητες του
τομέα αυτού, των συγκοινωνιών, στην Κύπρο. Μέσα στην μελέτη αυτή, αρχικά
παρουσιάζεται το προφίλ της εταιρείας και η εξέλιξή της μέσα από μια σύντομη
ιστορική αναδρομή και αναλύεται τόσο το εσωτερικό όσο και το εξωτερικό περιβάλλον
της εταιρείας και στη συνέχεια περιγράφεται αναλυτικά η υφιστάμενη κατάσταση που
επικρατεί σήμερα στην ΕΜΕΛ.
Τέλος, μέσα από την αποτύπωση των οραμάτων της εταιρείας, επεξηγείται το σχέδιο
υλοποίησης των νέων στρατηγικών και άλλων ενεργειών που επιδιώκει να εφαρμόσει
η εταιρεία μέσα στην επόμενη δεκαετία προκειμένου να υλοποιήσει τους στόχους της
και να επιτύχει την αναβάθμιση των συγκοινωνιών στην επαρχία Λεμεσού.
Όλο το επιχειρηματικό σχέδιο βασίστηκε σε προσωπικές εμπειρικές γνώσεις, ένα
ερωτηματολόγιο μικρού δείγματος ως προς την εικόνα της εταιρείας, σε έρευνες
αγοράς για την πρόβλεψη του κόστους και κυρίως σε συνεντεύξεις της Διευθυντικής

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present master's thesis was carried out in order to develop a comprehensive business
plan for the Limassol Passenger Transport Company, while highlighting all the
characteristics and peculiarities of the transport sector in Cyprus. In the study, the profile
of the company and its evolution through a brief historical background is presented, both
the internal and external environment of the company are analysed and then the current
situation prevailing in EMEL ‘s working environment is described in some depth.
Finally, through the depiction of the company's visions, the implementation plan of the new
strategies and other actions that the company seeks to implement within the next decade in
order to achieve its goals and achieve the upgrade of transport in the province of Limassol
is explained.
The whole business plan was based on personal empirical knowledge, a sample
questionnaire on the image of the company, on market research for pricing evaluation and
