| dc.description.abstract | Το ερέθισμα για την μελέτη της εν λόγω πτυχιακής λήφθηκε παρατηρώντας τις παγκόσμιες εξελίξεις που διαδραματίζονται στο κλάδο της ενέργειας το τελευταίο διάστημα, αλλά και λόγω της ώθησης για χρήση των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας από πλευράς της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης μέσω της Ε.Ε. Ως στόχο έχει τη δημιουργία ενός στρατηγικού πλάνου, που θα εξασφαλίζει ενεργειακή ασφάλεια και ανεξαρτησία στα κράτη. Εφαρμόζεται συγκεκριμένα στην Κύπρο με τα στοιχεία που υπάρχουν τη δεδομένη στιγμή. Ένας αγώνας ανώμαλου δρόμου, λόγω της συνεχούς αναζήτησης ενέργειας, έχει ξεσπάσει στις μέρες μας για την βιωσιμότητα καθώς επίσης και την αειφόρο και πράσινη ανάπτυξη του πλανήτη άρα η άνευ όρων προσκόμιση της είναι απαραίτητη.
Με βασικό γνώμονα αυτό, η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία ως στόχο έχει τη μελέτη και το σχεδιασμό ενός πλάνου που θα στοχεύει στην παροχή ενέργειας σε όλο το κόσμο για κάλυψη των αναγκών σε ηλεκτρισμό και θερμότητα με απόλυτη ασφάλεια.
Μεταξύ άλλων στην εργασία αναλύεται όλη η μελέτη της παρούσας κατάστασης που επικρατεί παγκοσμίως, γύρω από την ενέργεια, και ποια είναι τα κύρια μέσα και οι βασικοί πόροι προσκόμισης της. Αρχικά, γίνεται μια γενική αναφορά στις ενεργειακές πηγές, ανανεώσιμες και μη, και ακολούθως γίνεται σύνδεση των πηγών με τον ενεργειακό κίνδυνο που μπορεί να διατρέχει η απόκτηση του για παραγωγή ενέργειας.
Στη συνέχεια αναλύεται ο όρος ενεργειακή ασφάλεια με μερικές ιστορικές αναφορές. Σε δεύτερο επίπεδο παρουσιάζονται οι αιτίες πρόκλησης ενεργειακής ανασφάλειας καθώς και οι επιπτώσεις της και με βάση αυτό εξάγονται συμπεράσματα με πρόταση μέσων αντιμετώπισης τέτοιων συνθηκών.
Τέλος γίνεται παρουσίαση των διαφόρων στρατηγικών που μπορούν να ακολουθηθούν από οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις ανάλογα με το πρόβλημα που έχουν να επιλύσουν ή τον στόχο που θέλουν να επιτύχουν. Στην συνέχεια επιλέγεται το κατάλληλο πλάνο που θα μπορέσει να οδηγήσει το οποιοδήποτε κράτος σε εξασφάλιση ενεργειακής ασφάλειας και εφαρμόζεται στα δεδομένα της Κύπρου. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The stimulus of this dissertation project was acquired through the observation of the rapid global evolution surrounding the energy sector. Also the encouragement for using renewable energy sources by local governments through European Union incentives allowed for a broad and new area around the energy sector.
The main goal of this movement by the European Union is the creation of a strategic plan, which will promise the security and independence of energy within the states. In Cyprus the energy sector follows the regulation applied at the time. It is however becoming a difficult and constantly evolving fight for sustainability as the evolution and research surrounding energy and green growth is rapidly becoming the new norm.
This dissertation follows the rapid evolution around energy and aims to design a feasible solution to provide heat and electricity worldwide with absolute safety.
The dissertation follows and analyses the whole energy situation around the world, focusing on the main and basic resources and how they are attained. Initially, it follows the definitions around renewable and non-renewable energy. This is followed by the risk created from the production of energy.
Following, is a thorough analysis of the term energy security, supported with historical references. It is then examined further, presenting the causes of energy insecurity and its effects. Based on these effects, the study concludes with some proposals on how these effects can be avoided.
As a final conclusion of the dissertation, a presentation of all the different strategic solutions that can be adopted by the various organizations around the energy sector is presented. The analysis of how these solutions are to be followed through according to the plan and problem each organisation is facing or aims to eliminate. These solutions can also be applied and implemented according to Cyprus regulations. | el_GR |
