| dc.description.abstract | H παρούσα εργασία έχει ως στόχο να διερευνήσει την ιστορία του ελληνικού κινηματογράφου και τις πολιτικές στήριξης και ενίσχυσής του. Θα γίνει προσπάθεια της ανάδειξη της διττής φύσης του κινηματογράφου, ως ένα πολύτιμο αγαθό, το οποίο συμβάλλει σημαντικά στον πολιτισμό, την ψυχαγωγία, αλλά και στην οικονομία του ελληνικού κράτους. Πρώτα θα παρουσιαστεί η ιστορική διαδρομή του ελληνικού κινηματογράφου από τη γέννησή του έως σήμερα, επισημαίνοντας μερικά από τα σημαντικότερα κοινωνικά, πολιτικά και οικονομικά ζητήματα, μέσα στα οποία συμβάδιζε ο κινηματογράφος, μερικούς από τους σημαντικότερους παραγωγούς και σκηνοθέτες, όπως και τις σημαντικότερες ταινίες που ξεχώρισαν για τη δημιουργικότητα και την ποιότητά τους και κατάφεραν να φέρουν αλλαγές στο ελληνικό κινηματογραφικό τοπίο. Στη συνέχεια, θα διερευνηθεί η πολιτιστική πολιτική της Ευρώπης για την ενίσχυση και προώθηση του κινηματογράφου, όπως και τα αποτελέσματά της στην Ελλάδα. Επιπλέον, θα διερευνηθούν οι πολιτικές στήριξης της εγχώριας κινηματογραφίας, μέσω των θεσμών του Ελληνικού Κέντρου Κινηματογράφου και του Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης, όπως και η πολιτική που ακολουθεί η Ελλάδα για την τόνωση της ελληνικής οικονομίας, μέσω προσέλκυσης ξένων κινηματογραφικών παραγωγών στην Ελλάδα. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The aim of this work is to investigate the history of Greek cinema and its support and strengthening policies. An effort will be made to highlight the dual nature of cinema, as a valuable asset, which contributes significantly to the culture, entertainment, but also to the economy of the Greek state. First, the historical course of Greek cinema from its birth to the present day will be presented, highlighting some of the most important social, political and economic issues, in which the cinema co-ordinated, some of the most important producers and directors, as well as the most important films that stood out for their creativity and quality and managed to bring changes in the Greek cinematic landscape. Then, the cultural policy of Europe for the strengthening and promotion of cinema will be explored, as well as its results in Greece. In addition, the policies to support domestic cinema will be explored, through the institutions of the Hellenic Cinema Center and the Thessaloniki Festival, as well as a policy pursued by Greece to stimulate the Greek economy, by attracting foreign film producers to Greece. | el_GR |
