| dc.description.abstract | Στόχος αυτής της Μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι η διερεύνηση των παράπλευρων διαστάσεων που αποκτά η χρήση και η διάδοση εφαρμογών Κοινωνικής υπολογιστικής στο Ίντερνετ των Πραγμάτων. Σε μία κοινωνία η χρήση τέτοιων συστημάτων θα συνεπάγεται και την αυτόματη δημιουργία ιχνών στον πραγματικό χώρο και χρόνο παράλληλα με τα ψηφιακά ίχνη που δημιουργούμε μέσω των Κοινωνικών πληροφοριακών συστημάτων. Συγκεκριμένα κάνω μία διερεύνηση σχετικά με την αποδοχή ελέγχου παρουσίας για την αυτοματοποίηση ή χρήση υπηρεσιών μέσω των παραπάνω εφαρμογών.
Δεν θα γίνει μία αναζήτηση και καταμέτρηση των παράπλευρων διαστάσεων, καθώς κάτι τέτοιο θα απαιτούσε των γνώση και κατανόηση πολλών παραμέτρων οι οποίοι μεταβάλλονται σε σχέση με τα υποκείμενα, την τεχνολογία και τον χρόνο καθώς και από πάρα πολλές συνθήκες. Θα εστιάσουμε στην αποδοχή του ελέγχου της παρουσίας του υποκειμένου, τεχνολογικά και μέσω εμπειρικής έρευνας και παρουσιάζοντας την παρακολούθηση σαν ευρύτερο φαινόμενο, ο αναγνώστης θα προβληματιστεί και θα μπορέσει να εικάσει προεκτάσεις και νέες διαστάσεις σύμφωνα με τους δικούς του προβληματισμούς και εμπειρίες.
Η εμπειρική έρευνα έγινε σε χρήστες του Facebook στον Ελλαδικό χώρο κατά το διάστημα 26/2/2018 έως 31/3/2018 και κατέγραψε μέσω ερωτηματολογίου την επιθυμία αποδοχής του ελέγχου παρουσίας από διάφορες πλευρές. Τέλος έγινε μία διερεύνηση συσχετισμού μεταξύ κλοπών-κακοποίησης που έχει υποστεί το υποκείμενο ή σε συγγενικά του πρόσωπα καθώς και το μέγεθος του πληθυσμού του τόπου διαμονής του υποκειμένου, με την αποδοχή ελέγχου παρουσίας. Η παραπάνω συσχέτιση δεν αποδείχθηκε.
Ολοκληρώνοντας την μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή διαπιστώθηκε ότι το μείγμα των τεχνολογικών δυνατοτήτων και η διαθεσιμότητά του, η προσιτότητα καθώς και η αναγκαιότητα για έλεγχο θέσης και κατ’ επέκταση παρακολούθησης, αποτελούν ένα δυνατό σημείο έναρξης για όποιον θελήσει να αναπτύξει τέτοια δραστηριότητα. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The aim of this Postgraduate Thesis is to investigate the collateral dimensions of the use and dissemination of Social Computing applications on the Internet of Things. In a society, the use of such systems will involve the automatic creation of traces alongside the digital traces we create through Social Information Systems. In particular, Ι make an investigation concerning the acceptance of presence control for the automation or use of services through the above applications.
I will not search and count of the lateral dimensions, as this would require the knowledge and understanding of many parameters that change with respect to subjects, technology and time as well as from too many conditions. I will focus on the opinion of the subject regarding the acceptance of presence control, technologically and empirically, and presenting the observation as a wider phenomenon. It will make possible for the reader to be able to speculate extensions and new dimensions according to his own concerns and experiences.
Empirical research was conducted on Facebook users in Greece during the period 26/2/2018 to 31/3/2018 and recorded through a questionnaire the desire to accept presence control from different sides. Finally, a correlation was investigated between theft-abuse suffered by the subject or relative persons and the size of the population of the subject's place of residence by accepting presence control. The above correlation has not been demonstrated.
By completing the postgraduate dissertation it was found that the mix of technological capabilities and its availability, affordability as well as the need for presence control and thus surveillance, are a powerful starting point for anyone who wants to develop such an activity. | el_GR |
