| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική αναφέρεται στο ρόλο που διαδραματίζουν οι πολιτιστικοί οργανισμοί στον τομέα των εκδοτικών δραστηριοτήτων. Παρουσιάζονται το δημόσιο και το ιδιωτικό μουσείο στην Κύπρο από τη σκοπιά της εκδοτικής τους δραστηριότητας, η παρούσα κατάσταση αυτού του πεδίου υπό συγκρότηση, τρέχουσες πρακτικές στον κόσμο των μουσείων, καθώς και μελλοντικές προτάσεις και προοπτικές για τη λειτουργία αυτού του κλάδου.
Στόχος της εργασίας είναι η οργάνωση της προσέγγισης του σύγχρονου μουσείου και του εκδοτικού κόσμου και η αναγνώριση των σημείων επαφής τους. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται μέσα από την ανάλυση του ιστορικού του εκδοτικού τομέα, της παρούσας κατάστασης και των μελλοντικών στόχων των μουσείων, αλλά και των αδυναμιών του εγχειρήματος.
Η ποιοτική έρευνα είναι η μέθοδος που ακολουθήθηκε στην παρούσα εργασία. Η άμεση επικοινωνία με τους υπεύθυνους των εκδοτικών τμημάτων των πολιτιστικών οργανισμών, τα δεδομένα που συλλέχθηκαν από ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις και παρατήρηση συμμετεχόντων και τα αποτελέσματα που προέκυψαν από την ανάλυση, συνέβαλαν στην ολοκλήρωση της εργασίας. Η βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση, η ανάλυση της μεθοδολογίας της έρευνας, η παρούσα κατάσταση και οι μελλοντικές προτεινόμενες δράσεις, είναι οι ενότητες που παρουσιάζονται και αναλύονται παρακάτω. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This thesis refers to the role played by cultural organizations in publishing activities. The issues that are analyzed are the public and private museums in Cyprus, from the point of view of their publishing activity, the current status of this field under restraint, the current practices in the world of museums, as well as future proposals and prospects for the operations in this sector.
The purpose of this thesis is to organize the approach of the modern museum and the publishing sector and to recognize their contact points. This is achieved by analyzing the history of the publishing sector, the present situation and the future goals of the museums, as well as the weaknesses of this operation.
The method of research followed in this paper is qualitative research, focusing on the direct contact with the editors of the publishing departments of cultural organizations, data collection from semi-structured interviews and participant observation and the results obtained from the analysis. The chapters presented below are: the literature review, the analysis of the research methodology, the present situation in publishing activities in Cypriot Museums and the proposed actions in the future. | el_GR |
