| dc.description.abstract | Με την παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή επιχειρείται η αξιολόγηση διδακτικών πλευρών του σχολικού εγχειριδίου της Ζ. Σπανάκου με τίτλο ‘Ομηρικά Έπη: Ιλιάδα’, το οποίο χρησιμοποιείται για τη διδασκαλία της Ομήρου Ιλιάδας στην Β΄ Γυμνασίου. Συγκεκριμένα, στο πρώτο μέρος της εργασίας μου εξετάζω τα κριτήρια που εφαρμόστηκαν για την επιλογή αποσπασμάτων από το κείμενο της Ιλιάδας, καθώς και το βαθμό συμφωνίας τους με τους στόχους διδασκαλίας του αναλυτικού προγράμματος σπουδών. Επιπλέον, διαπιστώνω ποικίλες ελλείψεις και προτείνω τρόπους υπέρβασης αυτών. Στο δεύτερο μέρος της εργασίας αξιολογείται ανά διδακτική ενότητα το τμήμα ‘Ερωτήσεις – Θέματα για Συζήτηση ή Εργασία’ με κριτήρια τη συμφωνία του με τους διδακτικούς στόχους, το περιεχόμενο του διδασκόμενων αποσπασμάτων, καθώς και τη διατύπωση των ερωτήσεων και τις γνωστικές δεξιότητες που αυτές κινητοποιούν. Και σε αυτόν τον τομέα διαπιστώνονται συγκεκριμένα προβλήματα και αδυναμίες, για τα οποία επίσης προτείνω τρόπους βελτίωσης ως προς τη διδακτική αποτελεσματικότητα του ιλιαδικού εγχειριδίου. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This postgraduate thesis aims to evaluate aspects of instruction in the textbook 'Z. Spanakou, Homeric Epic: Iliad', which is currently employed for the teaching of Homer’s Iliad in the Second Grade of the Junior High School in Greece. In particular, the first part of my thesis examines the criteria used for the selection of passages from the corpus of the Iliadic text, as well as their alignment with the objectives proposed in the official curriculum. Furthermore, I highlight various shortcomings and suggest ways in which these could be improved. The second part of my study evaluates the section 'Questions - Issues for Discussion or Homework' in each unit of the textbook on the basis of its compatibility with the teaching objectives, the content of the corresponding passages, along with the discourse of the questions and the cognitive skills that these motivate. Here too my discussion indicates a variety of flaws for which I propose a number of suggestions with a view to improving the teaching effectiveness of the Iliadic schoolbook. | el_GR |
