| dc.description.abstract | Η μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή επικεντρώνεται στη διασκευή κινηματογραφικών ταινιών σε θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Παρουσιάζει τη θεωρία της διασκευής και των ειδικών χαρακτηριστικών της, επιχειρώντας να καλύψει τη βιβλιογραφική και μεθοδολογική έλλειψη συγκεκριμένων εργαλείων για τις διασκευές από την οθόνη στη σκηνή. Επίσης χρησιμοποιεί και αναλύει και άλλα μεθοδολογικά εργαλεία όπως η αφηγηματολογία και η σημειολογία, προκειμένου να μελετήσει σε βάθος τις διασκευές.
Η μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή επικεντρώνεται στο δεύτερο μέρος της στην διασκευή ταινιών σε θεατρικές παραστάσεις στην Κύπρο, χρησιμοποιώντας τα παραδείγματα των ταινιών THE FULL MONTY και DEATH AT A FUNERAL τα οποία διασκευάστηκαν σε θεατρικά έργα με τις ονομασίες σώβρακLess και ΕΝΑΣ ΘΑΝΑΤΟΣ ΣΕ ΜΙΑ ΚΗΔΕΙΑ αντίστοιχα, από την θεατρική ομάδα «Point To», στη Λευκωσία. Από τις περιπτωσιολογικές μελέτες προκύπτουν συμπεράσματα ως προς τη σχέση των δύο μέσων και τη χρήση της αμεσότητας του θεάτρου αλλά και ως προς τη μεταφορά στο παρόν της κυπριακής πραγματικότητας. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The postgraduate dissertation focuses on the Adaptation of Films into Theatrical Performances. It presents the theory of adaptation and its concepts, in an attempt to cover the bibliographical and methodological lack of certain methodological tools for screen to stage adaptations. It also uses and analyzes other methodological tools such as Narratology and Semiotics in order to study adaptations in depth.
The postgraduate dissertation focuses in its second part on the adaptation of films into theatrical performances in Cyprus, using the examples of the films Full Monty and A Death at a Funeral, which were presented under the names of σώβρακLess (sovrakless) and Ένας Θάνατος σε μία Κηδεία (Enas Thanatos se mia Kideia) respectively, by the theatrical group “Point To” in Nicosia. With the help from these two case studies we can draw conclusions as to the relationship between the two means and the use of the theater's immediacy as well as the adaptation to the Cypriot reality. | el_GR |
