| dc.description.abstract | Οι επιπτώσεις της πολύχρονης ύφεσης στην Ελλάδα είναι αντιληπτές σε όλους τους τομείς της ελληνικής οικονομίας. Η αποκλιμάκωσή της αποτελεί μια πολύ αργή διαδικασία που θα απαιτήσει τεράστιες προσπάθειες. Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία πραγματεύεται τη διερεύνηση της περίπτωσης των ιδιωτικών μονάδων υγείας της ελληνικής αγοράς. Επιλέχθηκαν οι πέντε μεγαλύτεροι επιχειρηματικοί όμιλοι βάσει κύκλου εργασιών που περιλαμβάνουν διαγνωστικά κέντρα, γενικά θεραπευτήρια και μαιευτικές κλινικές. Στόχος της εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση του κλαδικού περιβάλλοντος των ιδιωτικών μονάδων υγείας, καθώς και των στρατηγικών επιλογών των διοικήσεων των ομίλων κατά την περίοδο 2010-2014, ώστε να αντιμετωπίσουν αποτελεσματικά τις αρνητικές συνέπειες της παρατεταμένης οικονομικής ύφεσης. Επιπλέον, αναλύεται η οικονομική θέση των εταιρειών αξιοποιώντας αριθμοδείκτες και λαμβάνοντας στοιχεία από τους δημοσιευμένους ισολογισμούς τους.
Οι διοικήσεις των ομίλων για να μπορέσουν να αντιμετωπίσουν τα μέτρα που εφαρμόστηκαν για την περιστολή των κρατικών δαπανών όπως η επιβολή Φ.Π.Α. 13% από 01/01/2011, οι νέες πολιτικές στα φάρμακα και στα ειδικά πρόσθετα υλικά, η ψήφιση του νόμου 4172/2013 με την υποχρεωτική εφαρμογή των μέτρων rebate και clawback από τον ΕΟΠΥΥ, αναδιοργάνωσαν τη λειτουργία τους με ενέργειες όπως οι περικοπές στις δαπάνες και στα λειτουργικά τους έξοδα, η διεύρυνση των συνεργασιών τους με ισχυρές ασφαλιστικές εταιρείες για την ανάπτυξη των αγορών τους, η στροφή σε αγορές του εξωτερικού μέσω του ιατρικού τουρισμού, καθώς και η δημιουργία νέων τμημάτων και υπηρεσιών με σκοπό τη στρατηγική διαφοροποίησής τους. Τα αποτελέσματα των αριθμοδεικτών επιβεβαιώνουν το αρνητικό αντίκτυπο που έχει προκληθεί από τις αλλαγές στο εξωτερικό περιβάλλον των ιδιωτικών μονάδων υγείας τόσο στον κύκλο εργασιών τους όσο και στην ταχύτητα είσπραξης και εξόφλησης των υποχρεώσεών τους, τη ρευστότητά τους, τη δανειακή τους επιβάρυνση και την κερδοφορία τους. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The results of this long recession in Greece are well understood and noticeable in all areas of the Greek economy. Overcoming all this is a very slow process that will require immense effort. This dissertation deals with the investigation of private health care in the Greek market. Five of the biggest organizations have been chosen. This was done according to the type of work done and included all medical centers, hospitals and maternity clinics. The object of this dissertation is to investigate the environment of private health care as well as the strategic choices of the administrators of these organizations during the period 2010-2014, so they can effectively face the negative consequences of this long term economic crisis. In addition, it analyses the financial position of the companies, based on indicators and taking into account the data taken from their published balance sheet analyses.
The administrations of these organizations have restructured their operations in order to face the measures that have been passed to limit public expenses, such as the imposition of VAT of 13% from January 1st, 2011, the new policies regarding medicines and extra special equipment and the enactment of law 4172/2013, which requires the Greek National Organization for the Provision of Health Care Services to oversee the obligatory implementation of the measures of rebate and clawback. They have reduce their costs as well as their operating expenses, broadened their collaboration with influential insurance companies in order to develop their markets, exploited foreign markets through medical tourism and created new departments and services with the aim of diversifying. The results of the indicators confirm the negative impact that has been caused by the changes in the external environment of the private health centers, not only regarding their range of services but also the rapid collection of fees and settlement of obligations, their liquidity, their interest chargers and their profits. | el_GR |
