| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρεί να αναλύσει τις χρηματοοικονομικές καταστάσεις τεσσάρων ελληνικών τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων πριν και κατά τη διάρκεια της κρίσης ( 2005 – 2015) με την βοήθεια βασικών αριθμοδεικτών. Σκοπός της τρέχουσας εργασίας είναι η μελέτη των χρηματοοικονομικών καταστάσεων των τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων αναλύοντας τη βιωσιμότητά και την οικονομική τους θέση. Ξεκινώντας με μια ιστορική αναδρομή στην κρίση, από πού προήλθε, πως επεκτάθηκε παγκοσμίως αλλά και πως επηρέασε τον τραπεζικό τομέα, η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει τα ελληνικά τραπεζικά ιδρύματα κάνοντας μια θεωρητική προσέγγιση στους βασικούς αριθμοδείκτες. Στο πρακτικό τμήμα της εργασίας μελετώνται οι οικονομικές καταστάσεις των τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων με την βοήθεια των κυριότερων αριθμοδεικτών που σχετίζονται καλύτερα με το τραπεζικό τομέα. Η μελέτη αυτή οδηγηθεί σε μια σειρά συμπερασμάτων για την οικονομική κατάσταση των ιδρυμάτων. Τέλος, μέσα από τα αποτελέσματα των αριθμοδεικτών σχετικά με την πορεία των τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων κατά τη δεκαετία 2005 – 2015 προτείνονται κάποιες πολιτικές που μπορούν να ακολουθηθούν για να μπορέσουν να ανταπεξέλθουν στην χρηματοοικονομική κρίση. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This thesis attempts to analyze the financial statements of four Greek banking institutions before and during the crisis (2005-2015) through ratio analysis. The purpose of this thesis is to study the financial statements of banking institutions by analyzing their viability and financial position. Starting with a historical review of the crisis (where it stemmed from, how it extended globally and how it influenced the banking sector), this thesis examines the Greek banking institutions through a theoretical approach of the principal ratios. In the empirical part of the thesis the study of financial statements of banking institutions with the assistance of key ratios best suited to the banking sector is undertaken. Τhis study reaches a number of conclusions on the financial situation of banking institutions. Finally, through the results arising from the ratios concerning the course of banking institutions in the decade from 2005 to 2015, some policies to be followed are proposed so that banking institutions can deal with the economic crisis. | el_GR |
