dc.description.translatedabstract | This thesis examines the energy efficiency and the conditions of comforts of the 6th kindergarten of the Municipality of Palaio Faliro, which was constructed according to the principles of bioclimatic architecture, as it felt by the users of the building in real operating conditions.
First we are doing an historical flashback to the concepts of bioclimatic architecture and then followed by explanations to the principle literature through to review in Greek and international literature to make it clear to the reader. Further it is mentioned to the European Union's policies relevant to the environment, to the legislation on the energy performance of buildings and also to the individual legislation of Greece and Cyprus for energy buildings in order to provide a general understanding for the efforts of all the Europe to the environmental protection.
To the third chapter is presented analytically the design of the research process. We are carrying out the formality of the issue and documented the necessity of research, formulated the research questions and the content of the central concept. Then, in the fourth chapter lays down the methodological framework which are followed by the research and we are developing the theoretical background and we are explaining the ways of data collection.
Afterword we are making the presentation of the results from both qualitative research by making interviews to the teachers and the quantitative research by using questionnaires to the parents and then we are presenting useful information which are exporting from the analysis of these. Additionally we present some suggestions which are also exporting from the analysis of the results in order to contribute positively to the optimization of conditions of comfort in the area of the kindergarten, to improve the bioclimatic applications which presenting errors and sensitize the Ministry of Education to provide the appropriate education to teachers in sustainability issues.
The results of the survey showed very useful conclusions as it was found a significant lack of education and information of citizens-parents and teachers on the issues of environmental sustainability as well major technical problems regarding the normal operation of bioclimatic applications kindergarten. | el_GR |
