| dc.description.abstract | Τα τελευταία χρόνια, η διεθνής κοινότητα εστιάζει το ενδιαφέρον της στην έννοια της Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης αφού γίνονται ολοένα και περισσότερο αντιληπτές οι αρνητικές επιπτώσεις στο φυσικό περιβάλλον ως αποτέλεσμα του κλασικού μοντέλου ανάπτυξης. Οι επιχειρήσεις, ως κύριος μοχλός της οικονομικής ανάπτυξης καλούνται να αναλάβουν δράσεις και να εφαρμόσουν υπεύθυνες επιχειρηματικές πρακτικές που να εναρμονίζονται με τις αρχές της Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης.
Σκοπός της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι η παρουσίαση της έννοιας της Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης και η ανάδειξη της ανάγκης για εφαρμογή υπεύθυνων κοινωνικά και περιβαλλοντικά επιχειρηματικών πρακτικών προκειμένου να επιτευχθούν οι στόχοι της οικονομικής, περιβαλλοντικής και κοινωνικής βιωσιμότητας. Ειδικότερα, στοχεύει στο να υπογραμμίσει το σημαντικό ρόλο των διάφορων προτύπων στην προσπάθεια ενίσχυσης των τριών πυλώνων της Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης. Εκτενέστερα μελετώνται τα σημαντικότερα πρότυπα περιβαλλοντικής διαχείρισης και η συνεισφορά τους στην ενίσχυση της περιβαλλοντικής διάστασης. Αντικείμενο του δεύτερου μέρους της διατριβής είναι σχεδιασμός, η ανάπτυξη και η τεκμηρίωση Συστήματος Περιβαλλοντικής Διαχείρισης σε βιομηχανία τροφίμων συμμορφούμενο με τις απαιτήσεις του διεθνούς προτύπου ISO 14001:2015. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | In recent years, the international community has shifted its focus to the concept of Sustainable Development as the negative effects on the natural environment are increasingly perceived as a result of the classic development model.
Businesses, as the main lever of economic growth, are called to take action and implement responsible business practices that are in line with the principles of Sustainable Development.
The purpose of this master's thesis is to present the concept of Sustainable Development and highlight the need for implementation of socially and environmentally responsible business practices in order to achieve the goals of economic, environmental and social sustainability.
In particular, it aims to highlight the important role of the various standards in the effort to strengthen the three pillars of Sustainable Development.
The most important environmental management standards and their contribution to the enhancement of the environmental dimension are studied in more detail.
The subject of the second part of the dissertation is the design, development and documentation of an Environmental Management System in a food industry complying with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001: 2015. | el_GR |
