| dc.description.abstract | Οι χρόνιες ασθένειες αντιπροσωπεύουν το σημαντικότερο βάρος στον τομέα της υγείας σήμερα. Παραδείγματα αποτελούν η χρόνια αποφρακτική πνευμονοπάθεια, η καρδιακή ανεπάρκεια και μια σειρά νευρολογικών διαταραχών όπως η άνοια και το Αλτσχάιμερ. Σύμφωνα με τον Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό Υγείας οι χρόνιες ασθένειες είναι η κυριότερη αιτία «αναπηρίας» και ότι αν δεν την διαχειριστούμε σωστά θα γίνει το πιο ακριβό πρόβλημα για τα συστήματα υγειονομικής περίθαλψης. Έτσι ένας από τους θεμελιώδους στόχους των κρατών είναι να εξασφαλίσει ότι οι χρόνιοι ασθενείς όπως και άλλα άτομα τα οποία χρειάζονται παρακολούθηση θα λαμβάνουν ποιοτική φροντίδα και περίθαλψη στο σπίτι όποτε αυτό είναι εφικτό. Η τεχνολογική ανάπτυξη του τομέα της πληροφορικής και των τηλεπικοινωνιών σε συνδυασμό με την ανάπτυξη των αισθητήρων και τους αυτόματους έξυπνους αλγόριθμους καθιστά εφικτή, την διαρκή παρακολούθηση των φυσιολογικών και άλλων παραμέτρων υγείας προλαμβάνοντας επιπλοκές και πιθανές εισαγωγές στα νοσηλευτήρια εξοικονομώντας κόστη και ανθρώπινο δυναμικό.
Η παρούσα διατριβή αναφέρεται στην τηλεϊατρική, στο έξυπνο σπίτι και διερευνά το συνδυασμό των αισθητήρων καθώς και του υλικού και λογισμικού το οποίο είναι απαραίτητο για την παραγωγή και διάχυση των δεδομένών. Οι πληροφορίες αξιολογούνται άμεσα από τα κέντρα τηλεϊατρικής και τα τμήματα των επειγόντων περιστατικών. Επίσης γίνεται μια σύγκριση των ερευνών και παρουσίαση των έξυπνων συσκευών που υπάρχουν στο εμπόριο. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Chronic diseases represent the most important burden in the field of health today. Examples are chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure and a number of neurological disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer's. According to the World Health Organization, chronic diseases are the main cause of "disability" and if states do not manage it properly it will become the most expensive problem for health care systems. So one of the fundamental goals of states is to ensure that chronic patients as well as other people who need follow-up, receive quality care and home care whenever is possible. The technological development of the IT and telecommunications sector in combination with the development of sensors and automatic intelligent algorithms makes possible the continuous monitoring of physiological and other health parameters, preventing complications and possible admissions to hospitals, saving costs and human resources.
This dissertation refers to telemedicine, the smart home and explores the combination of sensors as well as the hardware and software that is necessary for the production and dissemination of data. Information is evaluated directly by telemedicine centres and emergency departments. There is also a comparison of research and presentation of smart devices on the market. | el_GR |
