| dc.description.abstract | Ο σκοπός της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι να εξετάσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ο Ισίδωρος Ζουργός οικειοποιείται και μετασχηματίζει τα ομηρικά έπη στο μυθιστόρημά του Ανεμώλια, το οποίο δημοσιεύτηκε το 2011. Η μελέτη βασίζεται στην αισθητική της πρόληψης του Χ. Γ. Γιάους, στις απόψεις του Μ. Μπαχτίν για τη διαλογικότητα και το μυθιστόρημα και στις θεωρίες των Τ. Κρίστεβα, Π. Μπαρτ και Ζ. Ζενέτ για τη διακειμενικότητα. Αρχικά, ερευνάται η επιρροή του ομηρικού έπους σε άλλα έργα του συγγραφέα. Έπειτα αναλύονται οι χαρακτήρες του μυθιστορήματος σε σύγκριση με τους αντίστοιχους ομηρικούς και παρουσιάζεται αδρομερώς η πλοκή του. Επίσης, εξετάζονται η δομή, οι αφηγηματικές τεχνικές, το ύφος και η γλώσσα του. Ακολούθως, γίνεται ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στις σχέσεις του με νεότερα ομηρικά διακείμενα.
Από την ανάλυση προκύπτει ότι ο συγγραφέας συνέθεσε μία σύγχρονη ιστορία για την ανδρική απόδραση και περιπλάνηση που τη διατρέχει μία διαρκής και φανερή συνομιλία με τον ομηρικό κόσμο. Ταυτόχρονα, αξιοποίησε τους μηχανισμούς της ανατροπής και της παρωδίας, για να υμνήσει την ανδρική φιλία και να παρουσιάσει τα αδιέξοδα της γενιάς του καθώς και την πορεία της σύγχρονης Ελλάδας. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The aim of the present postgraduate dissertation is to examine the way in which Isidoros Zourgos adopts and transforms the Homeric epics into his novel Anemolia (Words of Wind), published in 2011. The study is based on the aesthetics of reception of H. R. Jauss, on M. Bakhtin's views of dialogism and the novel and on the theories of J. Kristeva, R. Barthes and G. Genette on intertextuality. Initially, the influence of the Homeric epics on other works of the author is investigated. Then the characters of the novel are analyzed in comparison with the corresponding Homeric heroes and its plot is generally presented. Its structure, narrative techniques, style and language are also examined. Subsequently, special reference is made to the novel's relations with newer retelling of the Homeric texts.
The analysis shows that the author composed a modern story about male escape and wandering in constant and explicit dialogue with the Homeric world. At the same time, he exploited the mechanisms of subversion and parody, in order to praise male friendship and to present the deadlocks of his generation as well as the itinerary of modern Greece. | el_GR |
