παρούσα
διατριβή
πραγματεύεται
το
θέαμα
ως
πολιτισμικό
φαινόμενο.
Στο
πλαίσιο
αυτό,
θα
διερευνήσουμε
τις
κοινωνικές,
πολιτικές
και
ιδεολογικές
συνιστώσες
διαφορετικών
ιστορικών
περιόδων
δια
μέσου
επιλεγμένων
κινηματογραφικών
ταινιών
του
είδους
της
επιστημονικής
φαντασίας,
δράσης
και
περιπέτειας
στις
οποίες
κατά
κύριο
λόγο
διακρίνεται
έντονα
το
στοιχείο
του
θεάματος.
Με
αφετηρία
τη
μελέτη
του
Tom
Gunning
για
τον
«κινηματογράφο
των
εντυπώσεων»
κατά
τη
διάρκεια
του
πρώιμου
κινηματογράφου,
συζητούνται
οι
έννοιες
του
κινηματογραφικού
θεάματος
και
των
εγγενών
χαρακτηριστικών
του,
τα
οποία
σε
συγκερασμό
με
το
χαρακτήρα
της
αφηγηματικής
δομής
συγκροτούν
αναλόγως
την
συναισθηματική
και
αισθαντική
ενεργοποίηση
του
θεατή.
Επιπρόσθετα,
προσδιορίζεται
η
διαρκώς
μεταβαλλόμενη
φύση
του
κινηματογραφικού
μέσου
ως
δείκτη
επιστημονικών
και
τεχνολογικών
εξελίξεων
με
συνεπακόλουθο
την
αναζήτηση
ενός
εναλλακτικού
μοντέλου
θέασης
και
προσέγγισης
της
σύγχρονης
οπτικής

thesis
deals
with
spectacle
as
a
cultural
phenomenon.
In
this
context,
we
aim
to
explore
the
social,
political
and
ideological
components
of
different
historical
periods
through
selected
cinematographic
films
such
as
science
fiction,
action
and
adventure,
in
which,
the
element
of
spectacle
is
predominantly
distinguished.
Starting
with
Tom
Gunning’s
study
in
relation
to
the
«cinema
of
attractions»
during
early
cinema,
the
concepts
of
cinematic
spectacle
and
its
inherent
characteristics
are
discussed,
which,
in
combination
with
the
narrative
structure,
comprised
the
emotional
and
sensual
activation
of
the
viewer.
In
addition,
the
constantly
changing
nature
of
the
cinematographic
medium
is
identified
as
an
indicator
of
scientific
and
technological
developments,
with
the
consequence
of
looking
for
an
alternative
model
of
viewing
and
approaching
the
modern
visual
