| dc.description.abstract | Κορμός της συγκεκριμένης μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι η μελέτη των μουσείων τεχνολογίας και των εκθέσεών τους. Υπόθεση εργασίας είναι η έκθεση αρχαίας ελληνικής έρευνας και τεχνολογίας «ΙΔΕΑ» του Κέντρου Διάδοσης Επιστήμων και Μουσείου Τεχνολογίας -ΝΟΗΣΙΣ. Στο πρώτο μέρος της διατριβής γίνεται θεωρητική ανάλυση των εννοιών: μουσείο, μουσείο τεχνολογίας και εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα. Τα μουσεία τεχνολογίας και οι εκθέσεις τους συμβάλλουν καθοριστικά στη διαμόρφωση της αντίληψης και συνείδησης της αξίας και της επίδρασης του αρχαίου ελληνικού τεχνολογικού πολιτισμού και της σύνδεσής του με το παρόν και το μέλλον. Παρουσιάζουν σημαντικά πεδία της επιστήμης, των τεχνών και των τεχνολογικών επιτευγμάτων που έφεραν τον αρχαίο ελληνικό κόσμο σε ένα παγκόσμια αναγνωρισμένο επίπεδο. Σε σχέση με τα παραπάνω, στο δεύτερο μέρος, παρουσιάζεται η έκθεση «ΙΔΕΑ» του ΝΟΗΣΙΣ. Η έκθεση παρουσιάζει την εξέλιξη της σκέψης των αρχαίων Ελλήνων, την πρόοδό τους σε διάφορα επιστημονικά πεδία, καθώς και την επινόηση πλήθους τεχνικών και τεχνολογικών επιτευγμάτων. Στο τρίτος μέρος πραγματοποιείται συγκριτική μελέτη της έκθεσης «ΙΔΕΑ» με άλλες εκθέσεις αρχαίας ελληνικής τεχνολογίας που βρίσκονται στον ελλαδικό χώρο και αναλύονται οι παράμετροι πάνω στις οποίες στήνονται αυτού του είδους οι εκθέσεις. Επιπρόσθετα, η έκθεση ΙΔΕΑ μπαίνει σε μια διαδικασία σύγκρισης με το μουσείο επιστήμων του Λονδίνου, το οποίο αποτελεί πρότυπο στον τομέα έκθεσης τεχνολογίας. Τέλος, εξετάζεται η εκπαιδευτική οπτική αυτών των εκθέσεων και τα εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα που αναπτύσσονται γύρω από αυτές. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The core of this dissertation is the deeper study of technology museums and exhibitions. The case study around which the research revolves is the exhibition “IDEA” regarding the ancient Greek studies of technology organized and taking place at the Center for the Proliferation of Science and Museum of Technology - NOESIS. The first part of the dissertation consists of a theoretical analysis of the concepts: museum, technology museum and educational programs. Technology museums and exhibitions contribute decisively to shaping the perception and consciousness of the value and impact of ancient Greek technological culture and its connection to the present and the future. The aforementioned museums present important fields of science, arts and technological achievements that brought the ancient Greek world to a globally recognized level.
Complementing and completing the above theoretical analysis, the second part of the thesis presents meticulously the exhibition "IDEA" by NOESIS. The exhibition concentrates on the evolution of the ancient Greeks’ way of thinking, their progress in various scientific fields, as well as the inventing of a number of technical and technological achievements.
The third part of the thesis contains a comparative study of the "IDEA" exhibition with other exhibitions presenting ancient Greek technology achievements in Greece and analyses the pillars on which such exhibitions are being set. Additionally, the IDEA exhibition presents similarities with the famous “London Science Museum”, which constitutes an exemplar case study in the field of technology exhibitions. Finally, the dissertation examines the educational perspective of these exhibitions and the respective educational programs developing around them. | el_GR |
