| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική διατριβή εξετάζει τις μορφές πατρωνίας στην τέχνη, από την εποχή της ελληνικής αρχαιότητας όπου κυριάρχησε ο θεσμός της χορηγίας ως ιδιαίτερη «λειτουργία» εντός της πόλης – κράτους, έως και τη σύγχρονη περίοδο, όπου οι μορφές πατρωνίας αποτυπώνονται πλέον ως πολυσχιδείς και πολυδιάστατες, άμεσα συνυφασμένες με την παγκόσμια οικονομία. Η μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή βασίστηκε στη βιβλιογραφική έρευνα και μελέτη πρωτογενών διεθνών πηγών, αρθρογραφίας και εργογραφίας. Η πατρωνία παρουσιάζεται ως θεσμός κοινωνικός, πολιτικός και οικονομικός και αναλύεται μορφολογικά και διαχρονικά στα είδη της. Αναγνωρίζεται η γενικότερη συνεισφορά της στην ανάπτυξη των καλών τεχνών, αλλά και τα προβλήματα που σχετίζονται με αυτή. Μέσω της διερεύνησης περιπτώσεων πατρώνων και μαικήνων παλαιότερων εποχών, αλλά και της σύγχρονης, επιχειρείται να απαντηθεί το γενικότερο ερώτημα «ποιες μορφές έλαβε και λαμβάνει η πατρωνία και με ποιο τρόπο συνέβαλε στην εξέλιξη της τέχνης». Η διατριβή ολοκληρώνεται με μια ανάλυση των σύγχρονων μορφών πατρωνίας. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This master thesis examines the forms of patronage of the arts, from the era of Greek Antiquity, where the institution of sponsorship was dominated as a particular «operation» within the city-state, up to the present time, where patronage is depicted as multidimensional form, directly connected to the global economy. The postgraduate dissertation is based on bibliographic research and study of primary international sources, articles and works of art. Patronage is presented as a social, political and economic institution and also analyzed in its types, morphologically and chronologically. Although recognizing its general contribution to the development of fine arts, the thesis also examines the drawbacks and problems of arts patronage. Studying cases of Patrons and Maecenas, from both the history of art and the contemporary times, the
dissertation examines the types of patronage and the ways it contributed to the evolution of art. The thesis refers to modern types of arts patronage. | el_GR |
