| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή με τίτλο «Theaterdiskurs: Πέντε Σημαντικά Θέατρα του Βερολίνου και Κάποιοι Προβληματισμοί περί του Σύγχρονου Γερμανικού Θεάτρου» αναλύει από ιστορική και πολιτική σκοπιά κάποια από τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά λειτουργίας του γερμανικού θεάτρου και επιχειρεί να εντοπίσει τις ρίζες της σύγχρονης δομής του. Επιπλέον επικεντρώνεται στην ιστορία και την ταυτότητα των πέντε σημαντικότερων θεάτρων του Βερολίνου: του Berliner Enslemble, του Gorki Theater, του Deutsches Theater, της Volksbühne και της Schaubühne. Κάθε θέατρο λειτουργεί ως αφετηρία προκειμένου να γίνει αναφορά και να αναλυθούν συγκεκριμένα ζητήματα που κυριαρχούν στις συζητήσεις γύρω από την σύγχρονη γερμανική σκηνή, με θέματα που αφορούν την κυριαρχία των κλασικών έργων, τον ρόλο και τη σημασία του θεάτρου στη σύγχρονη κοινωνία, το «θέατρο του σκηνοθέτη», και άλλα. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present dissertation entitled “Theaterdiskurs: Five Important Berlin Theaters and Some Ιssues Concerning Contemporary German Theatre”, analyzes under a historical and political perspective, some of the main characteristics of the function of German theatre, and tries to trace the roots of its modern structures. Furthermore, it focuses on the history and identity of the five most significant theaters of Berlin: the Berliner Enslemble, the Gorki Theater, the Deutsches Theater, the Volksbühne and the Schaubühne. Each theatre institution provides a springboard for addressing key issues that dominate the discussion around the contemporary German theatre scene, as are, for example, the preponderance of classical plays in the theater’s repertory, the role and significance of theatre in modern society in general and the practice of Regietheatre, among others. | el_GR |
