| dc.description.abstract | Αναμφισβήτητα οι κίνδυνοι που αντιμετωπίζει ο πλανήτης, οδήγησαν τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες τις κυβερνήσεις να λάβουν αποφάσεις για την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Τα δυσμενή, απτά αποτελέσματα της ρύπανσης, έδωσαν στον άνθρωπο μεγαλύτερη επίγνωση σχετικά με την αξία του περιβάλλοντος και την ανάγκη της αειφορίας. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, η ανακύκλωση άχρηστων υλικών καθημερινά γίνεται δημοφιλέστερη. Σε σύγκριση με άλλα υλικά, η ανακύκλωση χρησιμοποιημένων οικιακών ελαίων βρίσκεται σε εμβρυακό στάδιο, σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο αλλά ιδιαίτερα στον Ελλαδικό χώρο.
Αρχικός στόχος της έρευνας, είναι η ανίχνευση των θέσεων, των κατοίκων του Δήμου Θερμαϊκού του Νομού Θεσσαλονίκης, σε ό,τι αφορά την ανακύκλωση γενικά και των τηγανελαίων ειδικότερα. Απώτερος σκοπός είναι η χρήση των αποτελεσμάτων να αποτελέσει εργαλείο για τους αρμοδίους του Δήμου για τη δημιουργία ενός ολοκληρωμένου και αποτελεσματικού συστήματος συγκέντρωσης και διάθεσης τηγανελαίων προς ανακύκλωση σε τοπικό επίπεδο. Παράλληλα, πραγματοποιήθηκε η καταγραφή της υφιστάμενης κατάστασης της ανακύκλωσης τηγανελαίων στην Ελληνική επικράτεια.
Κύριο ερευνητικό θεμέλιο αποτέλεσε ερωτηματολόγιο, με κλειστές και ανοικτές ερωτήσεις. Τελικά συμπληρώθηκαν ολοκληρωμένα 403 ερωτηματολόγια, που είχαν επιμερισθεί ανάλογα με τον πληθυσμό κάθε οικισμού. Η έρευνα διεξήχθη από τις αρχές Αυγούστου 2016 μέχρι τα μέσα Οκτωβρίου 2016. Εκτελέσθηκε δοκιμή cronbach’s alpha, ώστε τα παρουσιαζόμενα αποτελέσματα να έχουν τη μέγιστη δυνατή αξιοπιστία. Επιπρόσθετα ερευνήθηκε η σχέση του εκπαιδευτικού επιπέδου και της ηλικίας του δείγματος με τμήμα των απόψεων και θέσεων του, σχετικά με την ανακύκλωση τηγανελαίων. Για την ανάλυση των συσχετίσεων εφαρμόσθηκε ο έλεγχος ανεξαρτησίας x2.
Πέραν των άμεσων δεδομένων που προέκυψαν και διαμορφώνουν άποψη για τις πρακτικές, γνώμες και προτάσεις των κατοίκων του Δήμου για την ανακύκλωση τηγανελαίων, σημαντικά είναι και τα ευρήματα των συσχετίσεων, που εντοπίζουν συναρτήσεις δημογραφικών στοιχείων με συμπεριφορές πολιτών ως προς την ανακύκλωση τηγανελαίων. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Without doubt, the dangers our planet faces have led Governments to make decisions in order to protect the Environment over the last few decades. The unpleasant, tangible effects of pollution have made people more aware of the value of the Environment and the need for sustainability. In this context, recycling useless materials is gaining in popularity daily. Compared with other materials, recycling used cooking oils around the world in general and in Greece in particular, is still in its embryonic stage.
The initial goal of this research is to find out about the opinions of the residents of the Municipality of Thermaikos of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki with regard to recycling in general and recycling cooking oils in particular. Its true purpose is for the use of these results to provide a tool for the Authorities of the Municipality in order for them to create a complete and efficient system for gathering and making cooking oils available for recycling on a local level. At the same time, a record has been made of the current situation regarding recycling cooking oils in the Greek territory.
The main foundation of this research was a questionnaire with both open and closed questions. In the end 403 questionnaires were completed, which had been allocated in proportion to the population of each community. The research was conducted from the beginning of August of 2016 to the middle of October of 2016. A Cronbach’s alpha test was conducted so that the results presented may have the greatest possible reliability. In addition to this, the relationship between the educational level and the age of the sample with part of its views and opinions with reference to recycling cooking oils has been investigated. For the analysis of the correlations independence check x2 has been applied.
In addition to the immediate data which have resulted from this and which shape our opinion regarding the practices, opinions and suggestions of the residents of the Municipality as far as recycling cooking oils is concerned, the findings of the correlations which locate functions of demographic data with behaviors of citizens regarding recycling cooking oils are also important. | el_GR |
