| dc.description.abstract | Η εργασία αυτή στοχεύει πρώτα να εντάξει τον αναγνώστη στις βασικές έννοιες που αφορούν στην Υγεία καθώς και στα Συστήματα Υγείας (ΣΥ) και σε δεύτερο στάδιο να βοηθήσει τον αναγνώστη να αντιληφθεί μέσα από την περιγραφή που γίνεται τα πλεονεκτήματα και μειονεκτήματα των διαφόρων μοντέλων ΣΥ. Αυτό κρίνεται αναγκαίο για να μπορέσει να γίνει μια ουσιαστική και έγκυρη σύγκριση με τα χαρακτηριστικά και πρόνοιες του ΓεΣΥ. Απώτερος όμως σκοπός είναι να διαπιστωθεί κατά πόσο ένα τόσης σημασίας και μεγέθους μεταρρυθμιστικό έργο εμπεριέχει εκείνες τις ασφαλιστικές δικλείδες που διασφαλίζουν την αναμενόμενη απαιτούμενη ποιότητα στην παροχή υπηρεσιών φροντίδας υγείας.
Η μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε ήταν κυρίως βιβλιογραφική αναφορά και ανασκόπηση σε ότι αφορά τις έννοιες Υγείας, των Συστημάτων Υγείας, καθώς και των επιπέδων ποιότητας, αξιολόγησης και ελέγχου τους.
Από την μελέτη προκύπτει ότι αν και οι βασικές διατάξεις της νομοθεσίας περιέχουν στοιχεία που αναφέρονται στην ποιότητα αυτά είναι σε γενική μορφή. Συνεπώς είναι απαραίτητο όπως μέσω Κανονισμών περιγραφούν σε λεπτομέρεια συγκεκριμένα ποιοτικά κριτήρια (π.χ. δείκτες ποιότητας) καθώς και συγκεκριμένοι τρόποι αξιολόγησης και ελέγχου των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών ώστε να διασφαλίζεται η αποτελεσματικότητα της ποιότητας του συστήματος. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This study aims firstly to introduce the reader to the basic definitions regarding Healthcare and Healthcare systems and to help the reader realize the various advantages and disadvantages of the 4 main models of healthcare systems. This is of utmost importance in order to conduct a thorough and valid analysis of the characteristics and provisions of the “General Health Care Scheme Law of 2001". The ultimate aim of this study is to ascertain whether a reformative project of this importance and magnitude includes and safeguards the appropriate measures to ensure the necessary quality in healthcare.
A literature review is the main methodological tool used to conduct this study regarding the definitions of Healthcare, Healthcare Systems, as well as the Quality levels of Healthcare, their evaluation and monitoring.
The study concludes that even though the Law includes some elements regarding the assurance of quality, these elements are general in character and unspecific. Therefore, it is paramount to introduce such provisions in the law to safeguard quality in detail through Regulations and to include specific quality criteria (e.g. quality indicators) as well as specific means to evaluate and monitor the provided healthcare services to ensure the effectiveness of quality in the system. | el_GR |
