| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι να εξετάσει τις επιπτώσεις της οικονομικής κρίσης του 2008 στην απασχόληση και στη κατανομή εισοδήματος των Κυπρίων πολιτών. Για την ολοκλήρωση της παρούσας μελέτης έγινε χρήση ερωτηματολογίων, τα οποία διανεμήθηκαν σε Κύπριους ενήλικες, που διαμένουν στη Πάφο, Λεμεσό και Λευκωσία. Τα ερωτηματολόγια εξετάζουν μέσα από μια σειρά ερωτήσεων τις επιπτώσεις της οικονομικής κρίσης στην απασχόληση και στα εισοδήματα των Κυπρίων πολιτών. Σε συνδυασμό με την πρωτογενή έρευνα έγινε και δευτερογενής έρευνα η οποία περιλαμβάνει την ανάλυση των βασικών οικονομικών δεικτών της οικονομίας όπως της ανεργίας και του πληθωρισμού για τη εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων. Ο συνδυασμός αυτών των δυο μεθόδων κατέγραψε απογοητευτικά αποτελέσματα, όπως τη μείωση στο πραγματικό εισόδημα των Κυπρίων πολιτών, την άνιση κατανομή του εισοδήματος αλλά και το κλίμα απαισιοδοξίας και απογοήτευσης που υπάρχει για την πορεία της κυπριακής οικονομίας. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The aim of this master dissertation is to examine the impact of the economic crisis of 2008 on employment rates and income distribution for Cyprus citizens. For the completion of the dissertation, questionnaires were used, that had been handed out to Cypriot adults, residents of Paphos, Limassol and Nicosia. Through a series of questions posed in the questionnaires it become possible to explore the effects and the impact of the economic crisis on the employment and income of Cyprus citizens. Also, the secondary research includes the draw on the analysis of key economic indicators of the economy as the unemployment and inflation for the inference. The combination of these two methods recorded disappointing results as the reduction of the real income citizens of Cyprus citizens, the unequal distribution of income and also the climate of pessimism and frustration that exists for the Cypriot economy were evident. | el_GR |
