| dc.description.abstract | Το οικονομικό Ευ Αγωνίζεσθαι αποτελεί καινούριο θεσμό για τις οικονομικές διοικήσεις των ευρωπαϊκών ποδοσφαιρικών συλλόγων που θέλουν να συμμετέχουν στις διασυλλογικές διοργανώσεις της UEFA. Η ανάγκη ύπαρξης ενός κανονιστικού πλαισίου στις οικονομικές διοικήσεις είναι επιτακτική δεδομένου ότι αποφεύγεται η διάλυση πολλών συλλόγων και ιδιαίτερα των μικρότερων, εξαιτίας ανεξέλεγκτων εξόδων. Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής διατριβής είναι να παρουσιάσει την επιρροή που έχει η εφαρμογή των οικονομικών κανονισμών της UEFA στον υπολογισμό του Νεκρού Σημείου των κυπριακών ποδοσφαιρικών συλλόγων. Η UEFA επιβάλλει ένα συγκεκριμένο σχέδιο που αφορά τον τρόπο με τον οποίο πρέπει να εφαρμόζονται οι κανονισμοί, τη διαδικασία αδειοδότησης και τον έλεγχο που πολλές φορές φέρει διάφορες ποινές. Για την επίτευξη του σχεδίου αυτού οι οικονομικές διοικήσεις των συλλόγων καλούνται να πετύχουν το Νεκρό Σημείο των σχετικών εσόδων και σχετικών εξόδων με κάποια επιτρεπτά επίπεδα απόκλισης. Για τη διερεύνηση της επιρροής του FFP έγινε χρήση ερωτηματολογίων, τα οποία διανεμήθηκαν σε κυπριακούς ποδοσφαιρικούς συλλόγους. Τα ερωτηματολόγια εξετάζουν τις μεταβολές των διαφόρων κατηγοριών εσόδων και εξόδων μετά την εφαρμογή των κανονισμών. Επίσης διερευνούν τους τρόπους που αξιοποιήσαν κάποιους από τους κανονισμούς για ανάπτυξη και αύξηση των εσόδων, τα πλεονεκτήματα και μειονεκτήματα που προκάλεσαν καθώς και τις επιπτώσεις της οικονομικής ύφεσης στον υπολογισμών των εσόδων και εξόδων. Τα αποτελέσματα της ανάλυσης των ερωτηματολογίων, αφενός επιβεβαιώνουν ότι αρκετές κατηγορίες εσόδων και εξόδων έχουν επηρεαστεί από τους κανονισμούς, αφετέρου τονίζουν τις ομοιότητες και τις διαφορές της συμπεριφοράς των εσόδων και εξόδων με τους μεγάλους ευρωπαϊκούς συλλόγους. Συνεπώς, με αυτή την ανάλυση καθορίζονται σαφέστερα οι προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν οι οικονομικές διοικήσεις των κυπριακών ποδοσφαιρικών συλλόγων. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The Financial Fair play is a new regulations frame for the financial management of the European football clubs which are want to compete in the UEFA leagues. The need for a regulations frame like that for the financial managements seems to be urgent, considering that it works against the failure of many clubs especially for the smaller ones, because of the overspending. The purpose of this essay is to present the influence of the implementation of UEFA’s financial regulations on the calculation of the Break Even Point of Cyprus football clubs. UEFA imposes a specific plan which deals with the way that the regulations should be often applied, the club licensing process with the submission of specific financial information by the clubs, and after the evaluation the sanctions that can be applied. The financial administrations of the clubs, in order to achieve the goals of the Financial Fair Play, have to meet the brake even point by balancing the expenses and the income, with a small deviations. For the investigation of the influence of the FFP I used questionnaires, which were handed out to Cyprus football Clubs. The questionnaires inquire information about the variation of different income and expenses categories after the implementation of the FFP. Furthermore they inquire information about the ways that the clubs took advantage of the FFP regulations for development and increasing their income, and also the advantages and disadvantages that were produced by the regulations. Finally, end I asked questions regarding the results of the financial recession on calculation of the income and expenses. On the one hand the results that come out from the questionnaires confirm the influence of the expenses and income from the implementation of the FFP. On the other hand they stress the financial similarities and also the differences among European clubs. Consequently, that analysis makes it apparent for the financial administrations of the Cyprus clubs that they have lots of challenges to face. | el_GR |
