| dc.description.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Το Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Βέροιας καλείται να αντιμετωπίσει μια σειρά από προκλήσεις, όπως η οικονομική κρίση.
Σκοπός: Στην παρούσα μελέτη επιχειρείται η λειτουργική και χρηματοοικονομική αξιολόγηση του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Βέροιας
Μέθοδος: Για την οικονομική αξιολόγηση, πραγματοποιείται ανάλυση των χρηματοοικονομικών του καταστάσεων, ανάλυση χρηματοοικονομικών αριθμοδεικτών και ανάλυση των στοιχείων κόστους του νοσοκομείου. Για την λειτουργική αξιολόγηση, πραγματοποιείται ο υπολογισμός λειτουργικών δεικτών.
Αποτελέσματα: Από την μελέτη προέκυψε ότι το Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Βέροιας είναι πιθανό να αντιμετωπίσει προβλήματα ρευστότητας, ενώ δεν γίνονται επαρκείς προσπάθειες για την μείωση του κόστους ανά ασθενή. Όσον αφορά τη λειτουργία του, η μέση διάρκεια νοσηλείας είναι ικανοποιητική. Η μέση κάλυψη κλινών είναι μεγαλύτερη σε σχέση με το μέσο όρο της ΥΠΕ που ανήκει, αλλά μικρότερη από το σύνολο των νοσοκομείων της χώρας. Τέλος, ο ρυθμός εισροής ασθενών κρίνεται ικανοποιητικός, ενώ το διάστημα εναλλαγής ασθενών δείχνει ότι υπάρχουν χρονικά διαστήματα που οι κλίνες είναι παραμένουν άδειες για το Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Βέροιας. Από την μελέτη του προσωπικού προέκυψε ότι στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Βέροιας υπάρχει μεγάλος αριθμός νοσηλευτικού προσωπικού.
Συμπεράσματα: Το Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Βέροιας θα πρέπει να δώσει έμφαση στα σημεία που παρατηρήθηκαν αδυναμίες, αν και ο συγκεντρωτικός τρόπος διοίκησης δεν επιτρέπει μεγάλη ευελιξία. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Background: The General Hospital of Veria is facing a number of challenges such as the economic crisis.
Aim: The thesis attempts to evaluate, in financial and functional terms, the performance of General Hospital of Veria.
Methods: For the economic evaluation, we conducted financial statement analysis, financial ratio analysis and analysis of hospital costs. For functional evaluation, we calculated operational ratios.
Results: The study showed that the General Hospital of Veria is likely to face liquidity problems, while there are not adequate attempts for cost reduction. Regarding the functioning of the average length of stay is satisfactory. The average bed occupancy is higher than the average of YPE, but less than all the hospitals in the country. Finally, the rate of inflow of patients is satisfactory, while the ratio of switching patients shows that there are times that the beds are still in the General Hospital of Veria. The human resource study revealed that nursing staff at the General Hospital of Veria is more numerous in comparison to the whole country.
Conclusions: The General Hospital of Veria should focus on areas where weaknesses were observed, although the centralized management style does not allow flexibility. | el_GR |
