| dc.description.abstract | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η ανάλυση των πρόσφατων αλλαγών σε ότι αφορά στο σύστημα προμηθειών στα Ελληνικά δημόσια νοσοκομεία. Λόγω της οικονομικής ύφεσης αλλά και της ανάγκης για επαναπροσδιορισμό των συνθηκών που λαμβάνουν χώρα οι κρατικές προμήθειες στο χώρο της υγείας, έχουν γίνει σημαντικές αλλαγές με την είσοδο καινοτομιών και νέων τεχνολογιών που έχουν οδηγήσει στην ψηφιοποίηση του συστήματος αυτού μέσω της ηλεκτρονικής συνταγογράφησης και των ηλεκτρονικών προμηθειών καθώς και του παρατηρητηρίου τιμών, ενώ συγχρόνως έχει επέλθει και η πρακτική της διαπραγμάτευσης επί των προσφορών.
Για τις ανάγκες της εργασίας έγινε μελέτη στο τμήμα προμηθειών Παιδιατρικού Νοσοκομείου με τη χρήση πρωτογενών δεδομένων, με σκοπό την αξιολόγηση των νέων μεθόδων και προσεγγίσεων που σχετίζονται με τη διαχείριση των αποθεμάτων των νοσοκομείων με στόχο την αποδοτικότερη λειτουργία των νοσοκομειακών μονάδων.
Η έρευνα δείχνει ότι σε μεγάλο βαθμό έχουν γίνει σημαντικές οικονομίες κλίμακας. Μάλιστα χαρακτηριστικό είναι το γεγονός ότι αν και έχει μειωθεί το κόστος λειτουργίας του νοσοκομείου οι εισροές ασθενών αυξήθηκαν, κάτι που σημαίνει ότι έχει αυξηθεί γενικότερα η αποδοτικότητα και η οικονομικότητα του νοσοκομείου. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The thesis deals with the recent changes in supply system of the Greek public hospitals. Due to the economic recession and the need to redefine the conditions that occur at the government procurement system in the health sector, there have been significant innovative changes. The use of new technologies helped at the digitization of the system through e-prescribing and electronic procurement. The establishment of the price observatory and the tenders had an impact on the increase of the system’s efficiency. Τhe purpose of this research is to evaluate the changes made on the procurement system that have occurred during the past few years on Greek hospitals.
For the purpose of this study the purchasing functions of a Children's Hospital were assessed with the use of primary data provided by the same procurement department of the hospital. Research shows that significant economies of scale have been achieved. Despite the fact that the operating costs of hospital have been reduced, the outputs were increased (patient discharges), showing an increase of hospital efficiency. | el_GR |
