| dc.description.abstract | Τα απόβλητα αποτελούν αντικείμενο βαθιάς ανησυχίας και σημασίας κυρίως λόγω των επιβλαβών επιπτώσεών τους στην ανθρώπινη υγεία αλλά και στο περιβάλλον. Τα επικίνδυνα απόβλητα παράγονται από όλες τις χώρες, ανεξάρτητα από την κατάσταση ανάπτυξής τους. Η έρευνα για την παραγωγή και τη σύνθεση ιατρικών αποβλήτων προσέλκυσε την προσοχή πολλών ερευνητών τον τελευταίο καιρό. Αυτό το ενδιαφέρον έχει εκφραστεί σε πολλές μελέτες παγκοσμίως που έχουν επικεντρωθεί στη μέτρηση των ποσοστών παραγωγής και της σύνθεσής τους. Σχεδόν όλες οι δημοσιευμένες εργασίες επικεντρώθηκαν στην καταγραφή των ποσοτήτων και της ποιότητας των ιατρικών αποβλήτων που προέρχονται από δημόσια ιδρύματα και νοσοκομεία. Έτσι, και η παρούσα διατριβή, προσπαθεί να εισχωρήσει στη μελέτη του θέματος διαχείρισης αποβλήτων υγειονομικής μονάδας. Η προσπάθεια γίνεται μέσω έρευνας με ερωτηματολόγιο στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Έδεσσας. Μετά την ενδελεχή παρουσίαση της βιβλιογραφικής επισκόπησης του θέματος, αναλύεται η μεθοδολογία της έρευνας. Βάσει των απαντήσεων που δόθηκαν στα ερωτηματολόγια από το προσωπικό, συντάσσονται τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας και τέλος παραθέτονται κάποιες πιθανές προτάσεις-εισηγήσεις. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Waste is a matter of deep concern and importance mainly due to its harmful effects on human health and the environment. Hazardous waste is generated by all countries, regardless of their development status. Research on the production and synthesis of medical waste has attracted the attention of many researchers in recent times. This interest has been expressed in many studies worldwide that have focused on measuring production rates and their composition. Almost all published works focused on recording the quantity and quality of medical waste from public institutions and hospitals. Thus, the present dissertation also, tries to penetrate the study of the issue of waste management of the sanitary unit. The effort is made through a survey with a questionnaire at the General Hospital of Edessa. After a thorough presentation of the literature review of the topic, the research methodology is analyzed. Based on the answers given to the questionnaire by the staff, the results of the research are compiled and finally some possible suggestions are presented. | el_GR |
