| dc.description.abstract | Ο Μάγος του Οζ αποτελεί ένα από τα πλέον δημοφιλή μιούζικαλ, το οποίο είναι γνωστό από την επιτυχημένη κινηματογραφική του μεταφορά το 1939 αλλά και από τα συχνά θεατρικά του ανεβάσματα ανά τον κόσμο. Η διατριβή φιλοδοξεί να συνεισφέρει στον διάλογο κινηματογράφου και θεάτρου σε ό,τι αφορά τη μεταφορά του συγκεκριμένου μιούζικαλ, να συμβάλει στην παραστασιογραφική έρευνα του έργου στη μεταπολεμική Ελλάδα και να αιτιολογήσει την απήχηση του έργου άλλοτε και στη σύγχρονη εποχή.
Σκοπό της έρευνας αποτελεί η γνωριμία με το πρωτότυπο παραμύθι του Lyam Frank Baum The Wonderful Wizard of Oz και με τις μεταφορές του έργου στην οθόνη και στην ελληνική θεατρική σκηνή από τη μεταπολεμική περίοδο έως σήμερα. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η διατριβή επιχειρεί να παρουσιάσει τη σκηνοθετική προσέγγιση του βραβευμένου μιούζικαλ Ο Μάγος του Οζ του Victor Fleming και να συγκρίνει τις διαφορετικές μεταφορές του έργου στη σκηνή μέσω των τριών σκηνοθετικών προσεγγίσεων των σκηνοθετών Νανάς Νικολάου (2015-2016), Νίκου Δαφνή (2016-2018) και Στέφανου Νταλάση (2010-2011), ώστε να ερευνήσει την απήχηση του έργου στη σύγχρονη ελληνική θεατρική πραγματικότητα. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The Wizard of Oz is one of the most popular musicals, known for its successful film adaptation in 1939, but also for its frequent theatrical performances around the world. The dissertation aspires to contribute to the dialogue of the cinema and theater in terms of the adaptation of the particular musical, to support the figurative research of the work in post-war Greece and to justify the resonance of the work as well in the modern era.
The purpose of the research is to get acquainted with Lyam Frank Baum's original The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, its adaptation in cinema as it becomes a directorial approach to the award-winning musical "The Wizard of Oz" by Victor Fleming and the project's upgrading to the Greek theater postwar period to date. Specifically, the dissertation attempts to present and compare the different project transitions on the screen and scene through three directorial approaches by Nana Nikolaou (2015-2016), Nikos Dafnis (2016-2018) and Stefanos Dalasis (2010-2011) so as to investigate the impact of the work on Modern Greek Theatre. | el_GR |
