| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή διερευνά τη σχέση σκηνοθεσίας και αρχιτεκτονικής στη σύγχρονη σκηνή. Η αρχιτεκτονική ως τέχνη οργανώνει τον χώρο, τον χτίζει με βασικές έννοιες της ύλης αλλά και της ατμόσφαιρας και στην ουσία τον «σκηνοθετεί». Αυτά είναι οργανωτικά στοιχεία που χρησιμοποιούνται και στη σκηνοθεσία. Από την άλλη, η σκηνοθεσία ως αρχιτεκτονική χρησιμοποιεί δομικούς άξονες και εργαλεία της αρχιτεκτονικής. Η σχέση αυτή καλύπτει ένα τεράστιο φάσμα εννοιών, κυρίως ως προς την αμφίδρομη σχέση στις δύο αυτές τέχνες. Η έρευνα αυτή αναπτύσσει τέσσερα κεφάλαια στα οποία παρουσιάζεται και αναλύεται αυτή η αμφίδρομη σχέση των δύο τεχνών. Αρχικά, το 1ο κεφάλαιο διερευνά τη σημασία του σκηνικού χώρου στη σκηνοθετική πράξη των αρχών του 20ου έως του 21ου αιώνα, όπου καταγράφονται οι πρωτοπόροι καλλιτέχνες (σκηνοθέτες-σκηνογράφοι) που δούλεψαν με έννοιες της αρχιτεκτονικής, καθώς και οι κυριότεροι ιστορικοί σταθμοί που καθόρισαν βασικά σκηνοθετικά ρεύματα και προσεγγίσεις. Ακολούθως, το 2ο κεφάλαιο αναλύει τέσσερεις αρχιτεκτονικές έννοιες, όπως η γεωμετρία, η προοπτική, ο ρυθμός και η σύνθεση. Σύμφωνα με αυτή την εννοιολογική προσέγγιση, έννοιες που ξεκινούν από την αρχιτεκτονική, βρίσκουν εφαρμογή και στη σκηνοθεσία και τα εργαλεία της μιας τέχνης μπορούν να εφαρμοστούν και στην άλλη. Έτσι, προκύπτει μία αλληλεπίδραση εννοιών από την αρχιτεκτονική στη σκηνοθεσία και αντίστροφα. Το 3ο κεφάλαιο εξετάζει τον τρόπο που δουλεύει ο σκηνοθέτης με την αρχιτεκτονική και τις έννοιες της επί σκηνής, για να προσεγγίσει το υλικό της παράστασης. Η έρευνα περνά στη σχηματοποίηση και την αποκωδικοποίηση των αντίστοιχων εννοιών και στις δύο τέχνες και, μέσα από τα κατάλληλα διαγράμματα και σχήματα της ερευνήτριας, που εξηγούν και οπτικά τη σχέση τους, αναπαρίσταται η μεταφορά τους από την μία τέχνη στην άλλη. Η σχέση αυτή επεξηγείται περαιτέρω μέσα από τη δουλειά τεσσάρων σημαντικών σκηνοθετών που χρησιμοποιούν την αρχιτεκτονική ως συνθετικό εργαλείο στις καλλιτεχνικές προτάσεις τους. Στο 4ο κεφάλαιο, και κατόπιν έρευνας και εύρεσης κοινών εννοιών που συμπίπτουν στις δύο τέχνες, διερευνώνται έννοιες που είναι εγγενείς στην αρχιτεκτονική αλλά και στη σκηνοθεσία. Παρακολουθώντας αυτή την εξελικτική διαδικασία, ο σκηνοθέτης πιθανόν να οδηγηθεί σε νέα μοντέλα σκηνοθεσίας, χρησιμοποιώντας αρχιτεκτονικά εργαλεία τα οποία μέχρι τώρα δεν αξιοποιούνταν συνειδητά στις σκηνοθετικές μεθόδους. Συγκεκριμένα, ο σκηνοθέτης θα μπορούσε να χρησιμοποιήσει την αρχιτεκτονική ως ένα σημείο συνάντησης της παράστασης με το κοινό και να δημιουργήσει ιδιαίτερα περιβάλλοντα για τους θεατές, έτσι ώστε να δημιουργηθεί διαφορετική πρόσληψη ή μια διαφορετική αντίληψη για την παράσταση | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This master's thesis explores the relationship between directing and architecture on the contemporary stage. Architecture as an art organizes space, builds it with basic concepts of matter and atmosphere and in essence "stages" it. These are organizational elements that are also used in directing. On the other hand, directing as architecture uses structural axes and tools of architecture. This relationship covers a huge range of concepts, mostly in terms of the two-way relationship between these two arts. This research is laid out in four chapters, in which this two-way relationship between the two arts is presented and analyzed. Initially, the 1st chapter explores the importance of space in the directing practice of the early 20th to the 21st century, recording the pioneering artists (directors-scenographers) who worked with concepts of architecture, as well as the main historical landmarks that determined staging currents and approaches. Next, the 2nd chapter analyzes four architectural concepts, such as geometry, perspective, rhythm and composition. According to this conceptual approach, concepts that start from architecture may find application in directing, and the tools of one art can be applied to the other. Thus, there is an interaction of concepts from architecture to directing and vice versa. The 3rd chapter examines the way in which the director works with architecture and its main concepts on stage, to approach the material of the performance. The research moves to the formulation and decoding of the corresponding concepts in both arts. Through the appropriate diagrams and figures of the researcher which also visually explain their relationship, their transfer from one art to the other is represented. This relationship is further explained through the work of four contemporary established directors who use architecture as a synthetic tool in their artistic proposals. Finally, the 4th chapter explores concepts that are inherent in architecture and in directing. Following this evolutionary process, the director may be led to new models of directing, using architectural tools that have not until now been consciously utilized in directing methods. In particular, the director could use the architecture as a meeting point of the performance with the audience and build special environments for the spectators, so as to generate a different reception or a different perception of the performance. | el_GR |
