| dc.description.abstract | Η ψυχο-φαρμακευτική ενίσχυση των επαγγελματιών υγείας αποτελεί ένα τομέα που δύναται να εγείρει πολλούς ηθικούς προβληματισμούς εξαιτίας της πολυπλοκότητας και της ιδιαιτερότητας του ρόλου που έχει η εν λόγω πληθυσμιακή ομάδα. Η ψυχο-φαρμακευτική ενίσχυση αποτελεί ένα φαινόμενο που παρατηρείται και υιοθετείται εδώ και κάποιες δεκαετίες σε διαφορετικές ομάδες πληθυσμού (όπως μαθητές, φοιτητές, πιλότους, στρατιωτικούς, κ.α.). Παρόλα αυτά ελάχιστες έρευνες έχουν ασχοληθεί με την σημαντικότητα και την περιπλοκότητα του φαινομένου σε σχέση με τους επαγγελματίες υγείας. Οι επαγγελματίες υγείας για να είναι σε θέση να ανταπεξέλθουν στον πολυδιάστατο ρόλο τους και να διασφαλίσουν την ευημερία και την ασφάλεια των ασθενών τους, οφείλουν πρώτα να προστατεύσουν τη δική τους ψυχική υγεία. Μέσα από την ανάλυση των βιβλιογραφικών πηγών, η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή προσπαθεί να αναδείξει και να μελετήσει την έκταση που έχει το φαινόμενο αυτό στον τομέα της υγείας, τους παράγοντες που ωθούν τους επαγγελματίες υγείας στην υιοθέτηση τέτοιων πρακτικών, καθώς και τους ηθικούς προβληματισμούς που εγείρονται σε σχέση με την ψυχο-φαρμακευτική ενίσχυση των επαγγελματιών υγείας. Θα μπορούσε η ψυχο-φαρμακευτική ενίσχυση να αποτελέσει μία χρήσιμη και ευεργετική πρακτική που θα προσδίδει σταθερή και ψηλή απόδοση στην εργασία των επαγγελματιών υγείας; Ποιοι είναι οι πιθανοί κίνδυνοι, τα ηθικά διλήμματα και οι πιθανές ρυθμίσεις σε σχέση με την ψυχο-φαρμακευτική ενίσχυση; | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The psychopharmacological enhancement of the professionals in the health sector constitutes a field that could raise many ethical concerns, due to its complexity and special role that this population group performs. The psychopharmacological enhancement constitutes a phenomenon, observed, for some decades now, in different population groups (such as pupils, students, pilots, servicemen and others). However, very few research studies have been involved with the significance and complexity of this phenomenon, in relation to the professionals in the health sector. In order to be in a position to fulfill their multi-dimensional role and to secure the well-being and security of their patients, the healthcare professionals have first to protect their own mental health. The present post-graduate dissertation, through an analysis of bibliographic sources, attempts to highlight and to study the extent of this phenomenon has in the health sector, the factors that impel the healthcare professionals to adopt such practices, as well as the moral issues which are raised in relation to the psychopharmacological enhancement. Could the psychopharmacological enhancement of healthcare professionals be a useful and beneficial practice that would provide a firm and high performance in the work of professionals in the health sector? What are the possible dangers, the moral dilemmas, and the potential regulations in relation to psychopharmacological enhancement?
