| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή έχει γίνει προσπάθεια ανάλυσης της εφαρμογής του Γενικού Συστήματος Υγείας (ΓεΣΥ) σε τέσσερα ιδιωτικά Νοσηλευτήρια της επαρχίας Πάφου στην Κύπρο. Η ανάλυση αφορά τη λειτουργικότητα του ΓΕΣΥ, τα οικονομικά δεδομένα της εφαρμογής του, και τέλος το πως επηρεάστηκαν οι επαγγελματίες υγείας και οι ασθενείς. Για το πρώτο μέρος της διατριβής χρησιμοποιήθηκε η μέθοδος της Βιβλιογραφικής Ανασκόπησης και ακολούθως πραγματοποιήθηκε διαχρονική χρηματοοικονομική ανάλυση και ποσοτική έρευνα με την χρήση δομημένων ερωτηματολογίων, τα οποία έχουν απαντηθεί από επαγγελματίες υγείας οι οποίοι χρησιμοποιούν το σύστημα. Με τη βοήθεια των απαντήσεων των ερωτηματολογίων εξήχθησαν πλεονεκτήματα και μειονεκτήματα του ΓεΣΥ. Μέσα από την έρευνα διαφάνηκε ότι το γενικό σύστημα υγείας έχει θετική οικονομική επίδραση στα ενταγμένα ιδιωτικά νοσηλευτήρια, ενώ τα αποτελέσματα για το επίπεδο της παρεχόμενης υγειονομικής περίθαλψης μετά την ένταξη τους στο ΓεΣΥ δεν είναι ξεκάθαρα. Τέλος, οι επαγγελματίες υγείας φαίνεται να αντιμετωπίζουν αυξημένο φόρτο εργασίας σχετιζόμενο με την ένταξη του νοσηλευτηρίου στο οποίο εργάζονται στο ΓεΣΥ. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyze the implementation of the General Health System (GHS) in four private Hospitals of the district of Paphos in Cyprus. The analysis concerns the functionality of the GHS, the economic data of the implementation of the system, and lastly how the healthcare professionals and patients were affected. For the first part of the thesis, the method of literature review was used, followed by a longitudinal financial analysis and quantitative research using structured questionnaires, which have been answered by healthcare professionals using the system. Advantages and disadvantages of GESY were extracted by using the answers of the questionnaires. The research revealed that the general health system has a positive economic effect for the registered private hospitals, while the results for the level of health care provided after their inclusion in the NHS are unclear. Lastly, health professionals seem to face an increased workload related to the integration of the hospital they work in the NHS. | el_GR |
