| dc.description.abstract | Η ραγδαία τεχνολογική εξέλιξη των drones τα τελευταία χρόνια, άνοιξε νέες προοπτικές χρήσης τους σε διάφορους τομείς, εκ των οποίων δύο από αυτούς αποτελεί ο τομέας της γεωργίας και των ταχυμεταφορών. Η εξέλιξη αυτή και η ταχεία διάδοση των drone, επέφερε και ανάλογες νομοθετικές ρυθμίσεις για τη χρήση τους, οι οποίες θεωρούνται αναγκαίες για την ομαλή ένταξή τους στον Εναέριο Χώρο. Αντικείμενο της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι η ανάλυση των χρήσεων και εφαρμογών των drones στους τομείς της γεωργίας και των ταχυμεταφορών, όπως επίσης και στη νομοθεσία που διέπει τη χρήση τους, με στόχο να δώσει απάντηση στα ερωτήματα κατά πόσο τα drones θα υιοθετηθούν μελλοντικά στην Κύπρο στους τομείς της γεωργίας και των ταχυμεταφορών, κατά πόσο τα άτομα που απασχολούνται σε αυτούς τους τομείς είναι ενήμεροι σχετικά με τις χρήσεις και εφαρμογές των drones στον τομέα τους και ποιους παράγοντες θεωρούν ως ανατρεπτικούς για την υιοθέτησή τους. Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή χρησιμοποιεί την ποσοτική έρευνα, συλλέγοντας πρωτογενή δεδομένα με τη χρήση δομημένων ερωτηματολογίων που απευθύνονταν σε γεωργούς και εταιρείες ταχυμεταφορών. Τα αποτελέσματα της μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής, είναι πως στον τομέα της γεωργίας υπάρχει έλλειψη γνώσεως για τις χρήσεις των drone στη γεωργία και η μελλοντική υιοθέτησή τους είναι πολύ χαμηλή από τους γεωργούς. Αντίθετα, οι εταιρείες ταχυμεταφορών στην Κύπρο έχουν γνώση για τις χρήσεις των drone στον τομέα τους και προτίθενται να τα υιοθετήσουν στο μέλλον. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The rapid technological development of drones in recent years, has opened new perspectives for their use in various fields, two of which are the fields of agriculture and courier. This development and the rapid dissemination of drones brought about similar legal regulations for their use, which is considered necessary for their smooth integration into the Airspace. The subject of this master’s thesis is the analysis of the uses and applications of drones in the fields of agriculture and courier, as well as the legislation governing their use, in order to answer the questions whether drones will be adopted in the future in Cyprus in the sectors of agriculture and couriers, whether the people employed in these sectors are aware of the uses and applications of drones in their field and what factors they consider to be subversive for their adoption. This master thesis uses quantitative research, collecting primary data using structured questionnaires addressed to farmers and courier companies. The results of the master’s thesis are that in the field of agriculture there is a lack of knowledge about the uses of drones in agriculture and their future adoption is very low by farmers. On the contrary, courier companies in Cyprus are aware of the uses of drones in their field and intend to adopt them in the future. | el_GR |
