| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή έγινε εκτενή ανάλυση των οικονομικών καταστάσεων τριών κυπριακών επιχειρήσεων του κλάδου παραγωγής τσιμέντου και σκυροδέματος, της Τσιμεντοποιίας Βασιλικού Δημόσια Εταιρεία Λτδ, της K.Kythreotis Holdings Public Ltd και L.P. Transbeton Public Ltd ώστε να ελεγχθεί ποια ήταν η πορεία τους πριν και μετά την περίοδο της οικονομικής κρίσης.
Η διατριβή αυτή έγινε με σκοπό να καλυφθούν τα κενά που υπάρχουν στη βιβλιογραφία όσον αφορά τις οικονομικές επιπτώσεις που άφησε πίσω η κρίση στις κυπριακές επιχειρήσεις του κατασκευαστικού κλάδου.
Η εξεταζόμενη περίοδος ξεκινάει από το έτος 2010 και καταλήγει στο έτος 2020, ενώ για την ανάλυση των χρηματοοικονομικών καταστάσεων χρησιμοποιήθηκαν οι αριθμοδείκτες ρευστότητας, δραστηριότητας, αποδοτικότητας και κεφαλαιακής διάρθρωσης-βιωσιμότητας.
Τα κύρια συμπεράσματα που προέκυψαν από την διατριβή είναι η ύπαρξη επαρκούς ρευστότητας για την εταιρεία Τσιμεντοποιία Βασιλικού και K. Kythreotis και ανεπάρκεια ρευστότητας για την εταιρεία L.P. Transbeton κατά την εξεταζόμενη περίοδο. Η Τσιμεντοποιία Βασιλικού και K.Kythreotis στηρίχθηκαν περισσότερο στα ίδια κεφάλαια παρά στα ξένα πριν και μετά την κρίση, ενώ η L.P.Transbeton στηρίχθηκε στον υπερδανεισμό. Η Τσιμεντοποιία Βασιλικού υπερτέρησε σε σχέση με τις άλλες δύο επιχειρήσεις όσον αφορά την είσπραξη απαιτήσεων, την εξόφληση των υποχρεώσεων και την ύπαρξη ζημιών πριν και μετά την κρίση. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | In the present postgraduate thesis an extensive analysis was made of the financial statements of three Cypriot companies in the cement and concrete production sector, Vassiliko Cement Works Public Ltd, K. Kythreotis Holdings Public Ltd and L.P. Transbeton Public Ltd to check their development before and after the period of financial crisis.
This postgraduate thesis was made in order to fill the gaps in the literature regarding the financial effects left behind by the crisis on the Cypriot companies in the construction sector.
The period which is analyzed starts from 2010 and ends in 2020, while for the analysis of the financial statements, the ratios of liquidity, activity, profitability, and capital structure-viability were used.
The main conclusions that emerged from the thesis are the existence of sufficient liquidity for the companies Vassiliko Cement Works and K. Kythreotis Holdings and the lack of liquidity for the company L.P. Transbeton during the period considered. Vassiliko Cement Works and K. Kythreotis Holdings relied more on equity than foreign capital, while L.P. Transbeton relied on borrowing. Vassiliko Cement Works prevailed from other two companies in terms of collection of receivables, repayment of liabilities and the existence of losses before and after the crisis. | el_GR |
