| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή πραγματεύεται την δυνατότητα ενασχόλησης ενηλίκων με μέτρια και ελαφριά Νοητική Υστέρηση με το θέατρο. Εστιάζει ιδιαίτερα στον παιδαγωγικό χαρακτήρα του θεάτρου και στην κοινωνική διάσταση της εμπλοκής αυτής της ιδιαίτερης κοινωνικής ομάδας με την θεατρική τέχνη.
Ως προς την μορφολογία, η διατριβή έχει δομηθεί βάσει τριών θεματικών ενοτήτων. Στην πρώτη, η οποία αφορά σε εισαγωγή στο θέμα, παρουσιάζονται τα χαρακτηριστικά της Νοητικής Υστέρησης και η κοινωνική πλαισίωση του ζητήματος. Στην δεύτερη, αναλύονται οι δυνατότητες ανάπτυξης των νοητικώς υστερούντων ατόμων μέσω της θεατρικής τέχνης και η παιδαγωγική και θεραπευτική δυναμική της. Στην τρίτη ενότητα, το πλέον εμπειρικό στάδιο της ανάλυσης, παρουσιάζονται συγκεκριμένες πρακτικές, μεθοδολογικές προσεγγίσεις και ασκήσεις εφαρμόσιμες σε ομάδες ατόμων με ελαφριά και μέτρια Νοητική Υστέρηση, καθώς και το παράδειγμα της αυστραλιανής ομάδας Back to Back Theatre.
Μεθοδολογικά έχει υιοθετηθεί θεωρητική προσέγγιση βασισμένη σε βιβλιογραφική έρευνα πηγών κυρίως παιδαγωγικού και ψυχολογικού περιεχομένου, η οποία κρίθηκε η πλέον κατάλληλη για την ανάδειξη της αναγκαιότητας διδαχής της θεατρικής τέχνης σε άτομα με μέτρια και ελαφριά Νοητική Υστέρηση. Βάσει των στοιχείων που παρατίθενται συμπερασματικά καταλήγουμε στο γεγονός ότι η ενασχόλησή τους με το θέατρο είναι όχι μόνο εφικτή, αλλά και σε ατομικό και συλλογικό επίπεδο αναγκαία. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present dissertation investigates the possibility of adults, who have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities (Mental Retardation), could engage with the Theatre. Specifically, it focuses on the pedagogical character of the Theatre, and the social dimension of the involvement of this particular social group with theatrical art. Concerning its morphology, the dissertation has been structured on three thematic units. The first one, is an introduction to the subject, presenting the characteristics of intellectual disabilities and locating it in a social framework. In the second one there is the analysis of the possibilities of the intellectual disable individuals’ development, through the theatrical art and its pedagogical and therapeutic dynamics. In the third unit, there is a description of the most empirical stages of the above-mentioned analysis. In this part specific practices, methodological approaches, and exercises, that are applicable to groups of people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities are described. Furthermore, there is an extended reference to the example of the Australian Theatre group Back to Back.
The dissertation consists of a theoretical approach, based on literature review. The sources were of pedagogical and psychological content, as they considered the most appropriate to highlight the need to teach the theatrical art to people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Based on the facts exposed, concluding, it has to be said that their engagement with theatrical practices, despite of feasible, it’s also both individually and collectively necessary. | el_GR |
