| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διατριβή πραγματεύεται την ανάλυση της εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας του Στρατού Ξηράς και τον ρόλο που διατελούν σε αυτήν τα πληροφοριακά συστήματα.
Αρχικά, γίνεται μία γενική περιγραφή των πληροφοριακών συστημάτων, η οποία περιλαμβάνει τις κατηγορίες, τους βασικούς τύπους καθώς και τον τρόπο λειτουργίας τους. Επίσης, γίνεται μία σύντομη αναφορά στους κυριότερους επιχειρηματικούς στόχους που επιδιώκουν να επιτύχουν οι επιχειρήσεις, χρησιμοποιώντας τα πληροφοριακά συστήματα.
Στη συνέχεια, λόγω της ιδιομορφίας του θέματος και με σκοπό την εξοικείωση του αναγνώστη, γίνεται μία αναφορά στην στρατιωτική ορολογία που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί στην διατριβή, ενώ εισάγεται ο όρος «Διοικητική Μέριμνα», ο οποίος αναφέρεται σε όλα τα θέματα εφοδιασμού στις Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις.
Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναλυτική περιγραφή της εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας στο Στρατό Ξηράς. Τονίζεται ότι η παρούσα διατριβή εστιάζει στο σύστημα εφοδιασμού των Μονάδων σε υλικά και ανταλλακτικά. Στο πέμπτο αναλύεται το πληροφοριακό σύστημα (ΟΣΕΥΣ) που χρησιμοποιείται, ενώ στο επόμενο γίνεται η αξιολόγησή του γενικά, με βάση την τεχνική SWOT analysis και σε σχέση με άλλα Πληροφοριακά Συστήματα. Ιδιαίτερη μνεία γίνεται στις υπάρχουσες αδυναμίες του ΟΣΕΥΣ, με βασικότερη την απουσία του γραμμωτού κώδικα barcode από όλες τις Μονάδες.
Τέλος, εξάγονται συμπεράσματα και προτείνονται λύσεις και προτάσεις για την βελτιστοποίηση του συστήματος, όπως η πλήρης εφαρμογή του γραμμωτού κώδικα, η χρήση της τεχνολογίας RFID, η ενσωμάτωση εικονογραφημένου καταλόγου στο ΟΣΕΥΣ με σκοπό την αναγνώριση όλων των υλικών, καθώς και η προμήθεια ενός εικονικού ΟΣΕΥΣ (εξομοιωτής), ως κρίσιμο εκπαιδευτικό εργαλείο. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This master thesis discusses analytically the Army Corps supply chain and the role that information systems play in it.
First, information systems in general are analyzed, including its categories, basic formats, and modes of operation. In addition, there is a quick reference in the basic goals businesses struggle to achieve, while using information systems.
Second, because of the idiosyncrasy of the issue, and to familiarize the potential reader with the master thesis, there is a reference to the military jargon that will be used. Moreover, the term “Military Logistics” is introduced, which encompasses all the supply issues concerning the Greek Armed Forces.
In the fourth chapter, there is an analytical description of the supply chain in Army Corps. It is emphasized that the current master thesis focuses on the supply system of the military units concerning materials and spare parts. In the fifth chapter there is an analysis of the military information system in use, while on the next one an evaluation takes place in general, following the “SWOT analysis” technique and in relation with other information systems. A special reference presents the existing information system weaknesses, with a major one being the absence of barcode in all the military Supply Units.
Finally, conclusions are drawn and solutions and suggestions are proposed for the system’s optimization, such as the entire use of the barcode method, the use of RFID technique, the integration of an illustrated catalogue in the military information system for a better product - material identification, and the supply of an information system simulator for crucial educational reasons. | el_GR |
