| dc.description.abstract | Ο σκοπός της εργασίας είναι η βιομηχανική και μικροοικονομική ανάλυση του τερματικού αποθήκευσης πετρελαιοειδών της εταιρείας VTT Vasiliko. Η VTT Vasiliko, είναι θυγατρική εταιρεία του ομίλου VTTI (Vitol Tank Terminal International) με τοποθεσία εγκατάστασης και λειτουργίας, το ενεργειακό κέντρο Κύπρου, λιμάνι Βασιλικού. Η VTT Vasiliko βρίσκεται στο ανατολικότερο Ευρωπαϊκό έδαφος της Μεσόγειου θάλασσας.
Στο πρώτο μέρος της εργασίας θα αναλυθεί η αλυσίδα εφοδιασμού των πετρελαιοειδών ξεκινώντας από την εξόρυξη του αργού πετρελαίου μέχρι και τη χρήση των τελικών προϊόντων. Σημαντικό μέρος της αλυσίδας εφοδιασμού είναι η αποθήκευση, που πραγματοποιείται σε διάφορα στάδια, τα οποία εξυπηρετούν και διαφορετικές ανάγκες. Στην εργασία αυτή θα αναλυθεί περισσότερο η ανάγκη δημιουργίας και διατήρησης τερματικών στην αλυσίδα εφοδιασμού.
Στο δεύτερο μέρος της εργασίας θα παρουσιαστεί το ξεκίνημα της εταιρείας το 2014, η εταιρική αποστολή και όραμα, και η στρατηγική της εταιρείας για να καταστεί ενεργειακό κομβικό σημείο της ανατολικής μεσογείου.
Στο τρίτο μέρος θα παρουσιαστεί ανάλυση του εσωτερικού περιβάλλοντος, αναλύοντας τις δυο θεωρίες, την αλυσίδα αξίας και την ικανοτήτων και πόρων. Ακολούθως χρησιμοποιώντας το μοντέλο των πέντε δυνάμεων του Porter θα αναλυθεί το Μίκρο-περιβάλλον και χρησιμοποιώντας το μοντέλο PESTLE το Μάκρο-περιβάλλον του εξωτερικού περιβάλλοντος.
Στο τέταρτο μέρος χρησιμοποιώντας την τεχνική SWOT θα παρουσιαστούν τα αποτελέσματα της ανάλυσης του εσωτερικού και εξωτερικού περιβάλλοντος και θα αναλυθεί το σχέδιο δράσης του οργανισμού.
Στο πέμπτο και τελευταίο κεφάλαιο θα παρουσιαστεί η θεωρητική προσέγγιση του ανταγωνιστικού πλεονεκτήματος, οι στρατηγικές επίτευξης και η εφαρμογή του. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The purpose of the thesis is the industrial and micro-economic analysis of the company VTT Vasiliko, a petroleum storage terminal. VTT Vasiliko which is a subsidiary of the VTTI group (Vitol Tank Terminal International), is operating in Cyprus which is the Eastern European Mediterranean Sea and it is part of the Vasilikos energy centre.
First part of the thesis will be the analysis of the supply chain of petroleum products from production to consumption. Storage is an important part of the supply chain which takes place at different stages of the chain but serve different needs. This thesis will further elaborate on the necessity of investing and maintain terminals in the supply chain
Second part of the thesis is the company roll out back in 2014, corporate mission and vision, and the company's strategy to become an energy hub of the eastern Mediterranean.
In the third part, an analysis of the internal environment will be presented by analysing Porter’s two theories, the value chain and the capabilities and resources. The external environment will be analysed using Porter model of the five forces for the Micro-environment and using the PESTLE model for the Macro-environment.
In the fourth part, the results of the internal and external environment analysis will be presented using the SWOT technique and the action plan of the organization will be analysed.
The fifth and final chapter will present the theoretical approach of the competitive advantage, the strategies to achieve it and its implementation. | el_GR |
