| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της διατριβής είναι να αναδείξει τη λειτουργική ικανότητα του πολιτισμού να συμβάλλει στην πραγμάτωση του σωφρονιστικού σκοπού με την έννοια της προοπτικής ισότιμης και ομαλής κοινωνικής επανένταξης των φυλακισμένων, αίροντας τους κοινωνικούς αποκλεισμούς που υφίστανται, με την εργαλειακή του ενσωμάτωση και οργανική χρησιμότητα εντός του σωφρονιστικού συστήματος. Αναζητείται η δυνητική εφαρμογή της εν λόγω θεωρητικής προσέγγισης και η προβολή της σε πρακτικές πολιτιστικής πολιτικής εντός των σωφρονιστικών συστημάτων μέσω της χαρτογράφησης του ελληνικού πλαισίου και της περιπτωσιολογικής μελέτης του καταστήματος κράτησης Κορυδαλλού.
Η ρεαλιστική αποτίμηση των δεδομένων, μέσα από τη διατριβή, αναγνωρίζει αφενός τη θετική δυναμική του πολιτισμού στη λειτουργία και εφαρμογή του σωφρονιστικού συστήματος και στην επίτευξη της θεωρητικής του σκοποθεσίας, αφετέρου όμως καταδεικνύει προβληματικές τόσο τις μετουσιωμένες πρακτικές σωφρονιστικής πολιτιστικής πολιτικής όσο και το γενικό πλαίσιο ύπαρξης και λειτουργίας των φυλακών, καταλήγοντας στο πρόταγμα μια ριζικής αναθεώρησης συνθετικά του σωφρονιστικού συστήματος και της πολιτιστικής διαχείρισης, ώστε να μπορέσει η παρούσα θέση να τελεσφορήσει. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The intention of this thesis is to highlight the functional capacity of culture to contribute to the achievement of the correctional purpose in the sense of the prospect of equitable and neat social reintegration of prisoners, by removing the social exclusions that exist, with its organic integration into the penitentiary system. The potential implementation of this theoretical approach and its promotion into cultural policy practices within prison systems is sought through the mapping of the Greek correctional system and the case study of the Korydallos’ detention facility.
Realistic assessment of data on the one hand, recognizes the potential positive dynamics of culture in the functioning of the correctional system and achievement of its theoretical intention, but on the other hand, demonstrates problematic both the denatured practices of correctional cultural policy and the general context of existence and function of prisons, leading to a radical combined overhaul of the penitentiary system and cultural management, so that this thesis can be effectual. | el_GR |
