| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία παρουσιάζεται μία μελέτη για τα έργα πληροφορικής, εστιάζοντας κυρίως στους λόγους που μπορούν να οδηγήσουν σε αποτυχία. Δυστυχώς η αποτυχία είναι συνηθισμένη στα περισσότερα έργα, αφού σύμφωνα με μελέτες 7 στα 10 έργα οδηγούνται σε αποτυχία, ενώ έχει παρατηρηθεί ότι ο αριθμός των επιτυχημένων έργων πληροφορική είναι αρκετά χαμηλός. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να διερευνηθούν και να βρεθούν οι λόγοι αποτυχίας ενός έργου Πληροφορικής και παράλληλα να αναφερθούν και οι λόγοι επιτυχίας ενός έργου.
Η εργασία χωρίζεται σε δύο μέρη. Στο πρώτο μέρος γίνεται μία βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση σχετικά με τις μεθοδολογίες ανάπτυξης των πληροφοριακών συστημάτων, τους παράγοντες επιτυχίας αλλά και τις αιτίες μη ολοκλήρωσης (αποτυχίας) ενός έργου Πληροφορικής. Στο δεύτερο μέρος παρουσιάζεται ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα βιβλιογραφικά έργα Πληροφορικής στο χώρο της φαρμακευτικής βιομηχανίας που απέτυχε. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Τhis diploma thesis presents a study on information technology projects, focusing mainly on the reasons that could lead to failure. Unfortunately, the failure is common in most projects, since according to studies 7 out of 10 projects are led to failure, while only 17% are completed with total success. The aim of the work is to investigate and find the reasons for the failure of a IT project and also to mention the reasons for the success of a project.
This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part there is a bibliographic review on the development methodologies of the information systems, the factors of success and the causes of non-integration (failure) of a computer project.
