| dc.description.abstract | Το ησιόδειο έπος Έργα και Hμέραι αποτελεί ορόσημο στην ιστορία της αρχαίας ελληνικής αλλά και της ευρωπαϊκής λογοτεχνίας, καθώς αφενός εγκαινιάζει ένα νέο ποιητικό είδος, την παραινετική-διδακτική επική ποίηση, και αφετέρου αποτελεί την πρώτη ποιητική δημιουργία με την αυτοαναφορικότητα του ποιητικού «εγώ».
Σκοπός της παρούσας διατριβής είναι αφενός να καταδειχθεί πώς στο συγκεκριμένο έπος η ποιητική φωνή, με τη χαρακτηριστική αυτοαναφορικότητα του ποιητικού «εγώ» αποτελεί βασικό γνώρισμα που προσιδιάζει στον συμβουλευτικό-παραινετικό χαρακτήρα του εν λόγω έπους ως διακριτού είδους, και αφετέρου να αναδειχθεί η εσωτερική σύνδεση και συνοχή των ποικίλων θεμάτων που το απαρτίζουν, αντίθετα με τάσεις μέρους της κριτικής, που είτε αθετούσε ολόκληρα μέρη του ποιήματος ως μη γνήσια είτε θεωρούσε το ποίημα ως συμπίλημα ετερογενών θεμάτων.
Με την αφηγηματολογική κατηγορία της «φωνής» θα καταδειχθεί πώς ο ποιητής δημιουργεί μία ενδοκειμενική persona με όρους αυθεντίας που συμβουλεύει τον ενδοκειμενικό του αποδέκτη και αφηγείται μύθους με συμβολικό-διδακτικό χαρακτήρα, ενώ η ανάλυση του κειμένου συνολικά υπό το πρίσμα της αφηγηματολογίας, περιλαμβάνοντας τις λοιπές κατηγορίες της έγκλισης και του χρόνου με τις οποίες αιτιακά συμπλέκεται η κατηγορία της φωνής, θα φωτίσει ζητήματα ερμηνείας του κειμένου με γνώμονα το εστιακό σημείο της αφήγησης και την χρονική κατανομή των θεμάτων και των γεγονότων της αφήγησης από τον αφηγητή. Συν τοις άλλοις, με την αξιοποίηση της θεωρητικής εργαλειοθήκης της αφηγηματολογίας θα καταδειχθούν εκείνα τα δομικά χαρακτηριστικά των Έργων και Ημερών που αποτελούν ουσιώδη γνωρίσματα ενός ποιητικού είδους προφορικής ποίησης και μαρτυρούν μια δόκιμη και επιμελημένη επεξεργασία του ποικίλου θεματικού υλικού του ποιήματος. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Hesiod’s epic poem Works and Days set a landmark in the history of ancient Greek and European literature as it introduced a new poetic genre - the parenetic-diadctic epic poetry. Αt the same time, it was the first poetic work with a self-referenece of the poetic ‘I’.
The objective of this thesis is to show on the one hand that in this specific poem the poetic voice with the characteristic self-reference of the poetic ‘Ι΄ is its main attribute that determines the deliberative-parenetic character of that poem as an distinct genre, and on the other, to reveal the internal relation and cohesion of its various themes - contrary to part of a critique which either athetized entire sections of the poem as non-authentic, or saw the poem as a compilation of heterogenous themes.
With the narrative category of “voice”, it will be demonstrated how the poet creates an intratextual persona in terms of authority that advises the intratextual narratee and narrates myths with a symbolic-didactic character, while the overall analysis of the text will illuminate text interpretation issues based on the focal point of the narration and the temporal distribution of the themes and the narrative events by the narrator, under the prism of narratology, including also other categories of mood and tense with which the category or voice is causally related.
In addition, utilizing the theoretical toolkit of narratology, those structural characteristics of the Works and Days will be demonstrated that consitute essential attributes of a poetic genre of oral poetry and that testify a valid and thoughtful elaboration of the diverse thematic material of the poem. | el_GR |
