| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή έχει ως στόχο την αποτίμηση της συμβολής των Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων (ΠΣ) στη Διαχείριση της Εφοδιαστικής Αλυσίδας (ΕΑ) από τις Βιομηχανικές Επιχειρήσεις της Βορείου Ελλάδος.
Η έρευνα διεξήχθη στους νομούς της Μακεδονίας και της Θράκης και τα αποτελέσματα οδήγησαν σε ενδιαφέροντα συμπεράσματα. Για τη διεξαγωγή της έρευνας έγινε χρήση πρωτογενών δεδομένων τα οποία συλλέχθηκαν μέσω της συμπλήρωσης 96 ερωτηματολογίων από εργαζόμενους στις επιχειρήσεις. Ερευνήθηκε ποια είδη ΠΣ χρησιμοποιούν. Αξιολογήθηκαν η επίδραση και η συμβολή τους σε διάφορους τομείς της επιχειρηματικής δραστηριότητας που αποτελούν και μέρος της ΕΑ. Αναζητήθηκαν επίσης οι λόγοι που ωθούν τις επιχειρήσεις να επενδύσουν σε ΠΣ αλλά και οι λόγοι που θα τις απέτρεπαν να επενδύσουν.
Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας με άριστα το 5 (ερωτήσεις τύπου Likert) η επίδραση των ΠΣ στις επιχειρηματικές διαδικασίες ήταν τουλάχιστον 4,08, που αντιστοιχεί στη διαχείριση του δικτύου διανομής, με ανώτερο το 4,47, την εξυπηρέτηση πελατών. Επίσης η συμβολή των ΠΣ σε διάφορους επιχειρηματικούς τομείς είχε χαμηλότερη τιμή τη μείωση των επιστρεφόμενων (3,64) και υψηλότερη την ταχύτερη εξυπηρέτηση (4,47). Μεγάλο ποσοστό των ερωτώμενων δήλωσε ότι το οικονομικό όφελος από τη χρήση ΠΣ είναι τουλάχιστον σχετικά ικανοποιητικό. Κυριότερος λόγος επένδυσης σε ένα ΠΣ θεωρείται η μείωση των λαθών και κυριότερος λόγος αποτροπής επένδυσης το κόστος του συστήματος. Από τους μη παραμετρικούς ελέγχους που έγιναν, διαπιστώθηκε ότι υπάρχουν στατιστικά σημαντικές διαφορές μεταξύ ανεξάρτητων δειγμάτων, καθώς επίσης και μεταξύ νομών της περιφέρειας κεντρική Μακεδονίας σε κρίσιμες μεταβλητές της έρευνας.
Επίσης έγινε σύγκριση με παρόμοιες έρευνες κατά την οποία διαπιστώθηκαν ομοιότητες και διαφορές σε σχέση με την έρευνα της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής.
Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας δείχνουν ότι η συμβολή των ΠΣ στη διεξαγωγή των επιχειρηματικών διαδικασιών σε όλο το μήκος της ΕΑ είναι θετική. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The purpose of this master thesis is to evaluate the contribution of Information Systems (IS) into the Supply Chain (SC) management from the Industrial Enterprises of Northern Greece.
The Research was conducted into the districts of Macedonia and Thrace and the results lead to interesting conclusions. For this survey, primary data were used, collected through 96 questionnaires which were completed by employees on these enterprises. The research tries to find out the kind of IS they use. An evaluation was done to determine the effect and the contribution IS systems pose in various areas of business operations that are part of the SC. The research also seek for the reasons that push companies to invest in IS and the reasons that could stop the investment.
According to the results of this survey (in Likert scale type questions) the effect of IS into the industrial processes was at least 4,08 out of 5, which corresponds to distribution network management while the greatest value is 4,47 that refers to customer services. Also regarding the contribution of IS into various business areas, its lowest value corresponds to the decrease of the returned products (3,64) and the highest one to the fastest customer service (4,47). A great percentage of the respondents declared that the financial gain by using IS was at least relatively satisfying. The main reason investing in IS seems to be the decrease of faults and the main reason to not invest is their cost. From the non-parametric tests they were conducted, it was determined that there are statistically significant differences between independent samples, as well as between four districts of Central Macedonian Prefecture in critical variables of the research.
Also, in comparisons that were conducted with similar researches it was determined that there are similarities and differences regarding the current master thesis research.
The results of the survey shows that the contribution of Information Systems into the conduct of business procedures along the supply chain is positive. | el_GR |
