| dc.description.abstract | Με την παρούσα εργασία θα ασχοληθούμε με το Brexit, την εθελούσια έξοδο του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, η οποία αποφασίστηκε μετά από την διαδικασία δημοψηφίσματος στις 23 Ιουνίου 2016.
Όταν τέθηκε σε εφαρμογή το άρθρο 50, στις 29 Μαρτίου 2017, τότε ξεκίνησε η επίσημη διαδικασία απόσυρσης για το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (ΗΒ). Μέχρι τις 29 Μαρτίου 2019 υπάρχει δυνατότητα για διαπραγματεύσεις και κατάληξη σε συμφωνία εξόδου.
Οι συνέπειες που έχει και θα έχει για την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (ΕΕ) το δημοψήφισμα αυτό, είναι ίσως από τις μεγαλύτερες οικονομικές αν όχι η μεγαλύτερη, τόσο βραχυπρόθεσμα, όσο και μακροπρόθεσμα. Οι συνέπειες αυτές αφορούν και την οικονομία του Λονδίνου και του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου γενικότερα.
Το μέγεθος και η διάσταση των επιπτώσεων του Brexit, παραμένουν άγνωστα, δεδομένου ότι είναι όλα πρόσφατα και ρευστά. Καθώς επίσης δεν έχει ξεκαθαρίσει ακόμα, τι μορφή θα πάρει το Brexit. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present thesis will deal with the Brexit, the voluntary exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union which was decided following the referendum procedure that took place on the 23rd of June 2016.
When Article 50 of the EU Treaty was entered into force on the 29th of March 2017, at that point the official procedure for the withdrawal of the United Kingdom was initiated. Up until the 29th of March 2019 there exists a possibility for negotiations and for concluding to an exit agreement.
The consequences that the abovementioned referendum has and will have for the European Union are probably one of the biggest financially if not the biggest, both short-term and long-term. These consequences relate to the economy of both London and the United Kingdom in general.
The size and extent of the impact and effects of the Brexit remain unknown, given the fact that everything is still recent and fluid. Furthermore, due to the fact that the shape that the Brexit will take is still not clear. | el_GR |
