| dc.description.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Τα συστήματα υγείας σε όλο τον κόσμο αντιμετωπίζουν προκλήσεις, λόγω της γήρανσης του πληθυσμού και την αύξηση των ατόμων που πάσχουν από χρόνιες ασθένειες. Η ραγδαία εξέλιξη της νέας τεχνολογίας, δεν θα μπορούσε να αφήσει ανεπηρέαστο το τομέα της υγείας. Η ενσωμάτωση της ηλεκτρονικής και της κινητής υγείας στη Κύπρο, θα μπορούσε να ενισχύσει τη διαχείριση των χρόνιων πασχόντων και να αντιμετωπίσει τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει το υπάρχον σύστημα υγείας της Κύπρου, με αποτέλεσμα ενός βιώσιμου και οικονομικού συστήματος υγείας.
Σκοπός : Ο σκοπός της παρούσας μελέτης, είναι η περιγραφή, η αξιολόγηση και η συζήτηση της αποτελεσματικότητας του mHealth στη διαχείριση των χρόνιων πασχόντων και στην αντιμετώπιση των προκλήσεων που αντιμετωπίζουν τα συστήματα υγείας παγκοσμίως, αλλά και στα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει το σύστημα υγείας της Κύπρου. Το mHealth, οι χρόνιες ασθένειες και τα συστήματα υγείας, ήταν η κεντρική ιδέα αυτής της συστηματικής ανασκόπησης.
Μεθοδολογία: Η παρούσα μελέτη, είναι μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση της διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας. Για την αναζήτηση της βιβλιογραφίας χρησιμοποιήθηκαν οι βάσεις δεδομένων PubMed, Google Scholar, Google, όσο και ανασκοπήσεις από διάφορες μελέτες, άρθρα και πηγές μέσω του διαδικτύου. Επιλέχθηκαν άρθρα που σχετίζονται με το mHealth και αξιολόγησαν το ρόλο στη διαχείριση των χρόνιων ασθενειών και την αντιμετώπιση των προκλήσεων που αντιμετωπίζουν τα συστήματα υγείας.
Αποτελέσματα: Οι εφαρμογές mHealth, είναι το «μέλλον» της υγειονομικής περίθαλψης, καθώς επιτρέπουν στους ασθενείς να μένουν ενεργοί και ταυτόχρονα υπεύθυνοι. Έχει τη δυνατότητα να επηρεάσει το μετασχηματισμό της υγείας και να βελτιώσει τόσο τη ποιότητα όσο και την αποτελεσματικότητα της. Οι κινητές τεχνολογίες, προωθούν τις υπηρεσίες υγειονομικής περίθαλψης στη προσβασιμότητα, την αποτελεσματικότητα και την οικονομική προσιμότητα και μπορεί να διαδραματίσουν σημαντικό ρόλο στην αντιμετώπιση των προβλημάτων και προκλήσεων που αντιμετωπίζουν τα συστήματα υγείας , με αποτέλεσμα να τα μετατρέψει σε σύγχρονα και βιώσιμα συστήματα υγείας.
Συζήτηση: Η επιτυχής ενσωμάτωση και χρήση των εφαρμογών mHealth από το σύστημα υγείας της Κύπρου, θεωρείται επιτακτική λόγω της ανάγκης του συστήματος για αποσυμφόρηση και μεταρρύθμιση. Η επιτυχής ενσωμάτωση του mHealth, μπορεί να επιτευχθεί με τη χάραξη στρατηγικών σχεδίων και πολιτικών από τη κυβέρνηση και το Υπουργείο Υγείας, με έμφαση στη ποιότητα, την ασφάλεια και την ισότιμη πρόσβαση , εστιασμένο στις σύγχρονες ανάγκες των ασθενών και του συστήματος υγείας. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Introduction: Health systems throughout the world are facing challenges, because of the aging of the population and the increase in the number of people suffering from chronic diseases. The rapid development of technology could not leave the field of health untouched. The integration of electronic and mobile health in Cyprus, could strengthen the management of patient with chronic diseases and tackle the problems that the health system of Cyprus faces, resulting in a viable and economic health system.
Aims: The aim of this study is the description, the evaluation and discussion of the effectiveness of mHealth in management of chronic patients and to face the challenges that the health systems worldwide are going through, as well as the health system in Cyprus. The mHealth, chronic diseases and health systems, was the main idea of this systematic review.
Methodology: The present study, is a bibliographic review of international bibliography. For the search of the bibliography, some databases were used from PubMed, Google Scholar, Google and peer reviews from various studies, articles and sources via the Internet. Selected articles that are related to the mHealth, assessed the role in the management of chronic diseases and addressing the challenges that health systems are face.
Results: MHealth is the “future” of health care since it enables patients to remain active and simultaneously responsible. It has the potential to influence the transformation of health and to improve both, the quality and the effectiveness of it. The transferable technologies, promote the health care services in accessibility and efficiency and can play an important role in dealing with the problems and challenges the health systems are facing, with the result that they convert into modern and sustainable health systems.
Discussion: The successful incorporation and use of mHealth applications from the health care system of Cyprus, is considered imperative because of the need of the system for decongestion and reform. The successful integration of mHealth, can be achieved by formulating strategic plans and policies of the government and the Ministry of Health, with emphasis on quality, safety, and equal access, focused on modern needs of patients and the health care system. | el_GR |
