| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία θα μελετηθεί η σχέση της χρήσης του μέσου κοινωνικής δικτύωσης του Facebook με το περιεχόμενο/ποιότητα της ανταλλαγής των πληροφοριών και των συζητήσεων των ατόμων-ομάδων με αναπηρία (ΑμεΑ) τα οποία είναι χρόνια νοσούντες ασθενείς.
Υλικό-Μέθοδοι:
Τα στοιχεία/δεδομένα που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν συλλέχθηκαν από πλήθος βιβλιογραφικών αναφορών, άρθρων και μελετών, ξενόγλωσσων αλλά και ελληνόγλωσσων συγγραμμάτων με θέμα τα ΑμεΑ και το Διαδικτυακό Κοινωνικό Δίκτυο του Facebook. Επίσης πραγμα-τοποιήθηκε αναζήτηση στοιχείων και σε ηλεκτρονικές Αγγλόφωνες και Ελληνικές βάσεις δεδομένων, όπως είναι αυτές του Pubmed, του «Google Μελετητής», του ΕΚΤ (Εθνικού Κέντρου Τεκμηρίωσης) και του ΙΑΤΡΟΤΕΚ, καθώς και διάφορες διαδικτυακές πύλες έρευνας. Τέλος, οι μέθοδοι που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για το σκοπό της παρούσας έρευνας περιελάμβαναν τη μεθοδολογία του Τριγωνισμού, δηλαδή του συνδυασμού Ποσοτικής και Ποιοτικής μεθοδολογίας, καθώς επίσης και τη χρήση της Κοινωνικής Σημειωτικής της Οπτικής Επικοινωνίας-ΚΣΟΕ για τον περαιτέρω έλεγχο της ποιότητας της επικοινωνίας.
Αποτελέσματα:
Επιλέχθηκαν συνολικά n = 4 “Ομάδες” και n = 3 “Σελίδες” των ΑμεΑ από το Διαδικτυακό Κοινωνικό Δίκτυο του Facebook για τη διερεύνηση του σκοπού της εργασίας. Παρατέθηκαν και αναλύθηκαν όλα τα δεδομένα που αφορούσαν δημοσιεύσεις και είδη δημοσιεύσεων (status, links, videos, events, photos etc.), σχόλια και γενικά αντιδράσεις στα οποία προχώρησαν τα ίδια τα ΑμεΑ κατά τη διάρκεια χρήσης του Facebook σε μια συγκεκριμένη χρονική περίοδο. Επιπλέον, πραγματοποιήθηκε ανάλυση Περιπτωσιολογικής Μελέτης για μια εκ των “Ομάδων” του δείγματος της έρευνας με τη χρήση της μεθόδου της ΚΣΟΚ, με παράθεση δημοσιεύσεων/φωτογραφιών και με σκοπό την περαιτέρω ανάλυση της ποιότητας της επικοινωνίας των ΑμεΑ μέσω Facebook. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | During the current research we will examine the correlation between the use of Facebook as a social medium and the content/quality of online information exchange and discussions of chronic disease patients with disabilities (groups and single persons).
Methods:
The data we used were gathered from a wide range of bibliographic articles and research studies, foreign and domestic (Greek), which was related to People with Disabilities and Facebook. We also performed related research within electronic domestic and foreign databases, like Pubmed, Google Scholar, NDC (National Documentation Centre), Iatrotek on-line and also within different Research Gates. Finally, the methods used within the current research include the “Triangulation Method”, which is the combination of qualitative and quantitative research method, and also the “Social Semiotic of Visual Communication” (SSVC) method, in order to further analyze the quality of communication of Persons with Disabilities.
Results:
In order to achieve the scope of the current research, we have chosen to analyze in total n = 4 Facebook Groups and n = 3 Facebook Pages of relevant content to Persons with Disabilities. We presented and analyzed the posts within these Groups & Pages, the types of these posts (status, link, video, event, photo etc.), the comments posted and in general the reactions of Persons with Disabilities during the use of Facebook in a specific period of time. We have also performed a Case Study report for one of the Groups selected, using the SSVC method and presented posts/photos published in it, in order to further analyze the quality of communication of Persons with Disabilities within Facebook.
Conclusion:
The communication content of Persons with Disabilities within Facebook is mainly characterized by the simple form of communication amongst them. Their main communication form (34%) includes the exchange of opinions, ideas and other simple daily information. The second most popular form of communication (31%) includes the exchange

of information related to medical issues. The above mentioned conclusions are in total accordance with the ones of a recently performed study with similar scope, but also with the ones of a small sample of published research studies, which mainly examined the wide topics of internet and Persons with Disabilities. | el_GR |
