| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή έχει ως αντικείμενο μελέτης την ανάλυση των κατηγοριών του χρόνου στην τραγωδία Αντιγόνη του Σοφοκλή. Τα αφηγηματικά μοντέλα του G. Genette και της M. Bal στάθηκαν πολύτιμοι αρωγοί τόσο στην μελέτη της αφηγηματικής λειτουργίας του χρόνου στο εν λόγω έργο όσο και και σε περαιτέρω επεξεργασία των προθέσεων του ποιητή. Ο χρόνος στην τραγωδία εξυπηρετεί όχι μόνο στην ανάδειξη της χρονολογικής ακολουθίας των γεγονότων αλλά και στη σκιαγράφηση των χαρακτήρων.
Η θέαση του παρελθόντος αλλά και η αντιμετώπισξ των γεγονότων που το σημάδεψαν αποτελεί βασικό παράγοντα για την Αντιγόνη. Ο χρόνος δοκιμάζει τους χαρακτήρες, ενώ και οι μεταξύ τους σχέσεις επηρεάζονται καθοριστικά κατά την εξέλιξη της πλοκής. Ο χρόνος έχει τη δύναμη να αλλάζει άρδην τα δεδομένα και τότε είναι που οι χαρακτήρες καλούνται να λάβουν σημαντικές αποφάσεις για το μέλλον. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This postgraduate thesis examines the categories of time in Sophocles’ Antigone. The narratological models of analysis proposed by G. Genette and M. Bal have provided valuable tools for both the study of the narrative function of time in this project and in further processing of the poet's intentions. Thus the analysis of time in tragedy serves not only to highlight the chronological sequence of events but also contributes to the interpretation of characters.
The view of the past and the confrontation of the events play the most important role in the Antigone. The characters confront themselves through time, while the relationships among them are decisively influenced by the development of the plot. Time has the power to radically change the situation and that is when the characters are asked to take important decisions for the future. | el_GR |
