| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή προσπαθούμε να απαντήσουμε στο ερώτημα ποια είναι η βασική σειρά όρων στη νεοελληνική πρόταση. Αρχικά παρουσιάζουμε την Πληροφοριακή Δομή της Πρότασης, δηλαδή την αλληλεπίδρασή της με το περικείμενο μέσω της στρατηγικής του ομιλητή απέναντι στον ακροατή. Κατόπιν, ερευνούμε τον ορισμό της βασικής σειράς. Οι ορισμοί ποικίλλουν αρκετά ανάλογα με το ποια σχολή της γλωσσολογικής επιστήμης ερευνά το θέμα. Επειδή οι περισσότερες προσεγγίσεις του φαινομένου έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί υπό το πρίσμα της γενετικής σύνταξης, παρουσιάζουμε πολύ συνοπτικά τη δόμηση της πρότασης με βάση το πιο πρόσφατο γενετικό μοντέλο, «Μινιμαλιστικό Πρόγραμμα». Τέλος, παρουσιάζουμε κριτικά το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας και διαπιστώνουμε ότι το φαινόμενο ξεφεύγει από τα στενά όρια της σύνταξης και κυρίως ότι η Νέα Ελληνική έχει δύο βασικές σειρές όρων, ανάλογα με είδος της φράσης του υποκειμένου και του κατηγορήματος, τη στρατηγική του ομιλητή για την παρουσίαση της πληροφορίας στον ακροατή. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | This thesis attempts to answer which word order is the basic one in the Modern Greek clause. We firstl present the Clause Information Structure, i.e. the way the clause interacts with the context via the use of speaker’s strategies towards the listener. We furthermore explore the various definitions of basic order. There, we find various definitions depending on the theoretical framework. Given that most approaches to the phenomenon in the literature are couched within Generative Syntax, we very briefly present the assumptions as regards clause structure made by the most recent generative model, i.e. the Minimalist Program. Finally, after reviewing most of the related bibliography, we conclude that the above phenomenon goes beyond the limits of syntax and we thus deduce that Modern Greek has two basic constituent orders that depend on the type of subject phrase as well as the type of the predicate, and also on the strategy employed by the speaker in presenting the information to the listener. | el_GR |
