| dc.description.abstract | Στη μεταπτυχιακή αυτή διατριβή καταβλήθηκε προσπάθεια να εξετασθεί η αποβολή των άτονων φωνηέντων /i/ και /u/ στην Αιτωλική διάλεκτο όχι μόνο σε θεωρητικό αλλά κυρίως σε εμπειρικό επίπεδο γλωσσικής πράξης. Προηγείται ανασκόπηση της προηγούμενης επιστημονικής βιβλιογραφίας και ακολουθεί η παρουσίαση των σημαντικότερων θεωριών κατάταξης των ελληνικών διαλέκτων και φυσικά της Αιτωλικής. Στη συνέχεια, παρουσιάζεται αναλυτικά το φαινόμενο της αποβολής των άτονων /i u/ και επισημαίνεται η διάκρισή τους από τα αντίστοιχα νόθα. Συνάμα επιχειρείται η προσέγγιση της χρονολογικής τους καταγραφής και παρατίθενται οι διαφορετικές γλωσσολογικές απόψεις για τις αιτίες που προκαλούν το ως άνω φωνολογικό φαινόμενο. Ακολούθως αναλύονται οι προς εξέταση κοινωνιογλωσσικές και φωνολογικές παράμετροι που ελήφθησαν υπόψη στη διεξαγωγή της έρευνας και επεξηγείται η μεθοδολογία της η οποία βασίστηκε στη μέθοδο των ελεύθερων -έως ένα βαθμό- συνεντεύξεων συνδυάζοντας την ποσοτική με την ποιοτική συλλογή δεδομένων. Τέλος παρουσιάζονται τα στατιστικά και φωνολογικά αποτελέσματα της έρευνας βασισμένα σε 48 συνεντεύξεις φυσικών ομιλητών της τοπικής γλωσσικής ποικιλίας και καταγράφονται απόψεις για τον τρόπο κατασκευής του γλωσσικού στερεοτύπου. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | Ιn this present dissertation an attempt to examin the deletion of unstressed vowels /i/ and /u/ in the Aetolic dialect was made not only in a theoretical but mainly in an empirical perspective of linguistic action. It precedes survey of the present scientific bibliography and follows the presentation of the major theories concerning the classification of Modern Greek dialects, especially the Aetolic. Furthermorethe phenomenon of the deletion of unstressed /i/ and /u/ is presented in a detailed report and their distinction from the impure ones is underlined. Simultaneously, an approach to their chronological report is attempted for the reasons that cause the above phonological phenomenon. Then, on examination, the socio-linguistic and phonological parameters that were taken into account are analyzed throughout the present study and the methodology that was based on the method of free interviews is explained -to some degree- combined with quantitative and qualitative collection of data. Finally, a presentation of the statistical and phonological research results follows, based on 48 interviews of native speakers of the local linguistic variety and registered are the views of the way in which linguistic stereotype is created. | el_GR |
