| dc.description.abstract | Στόχος της παρούσας μεταπτυχιακής διατριβής είναι να εξετάσει τις μυθικές αφηγήσεις στην Ιλιάδα του Ομήρου και να αναδείξει κυρίως την παραδειγματική τους λειτουργία. Στο εισαγωγικό κεφάλαιο, η Ιλιάδα προσεγγίζεται ως αφηγηματικό κείμενο και γίνονται αναφορές στον αφηγητή, τον αποδέκτη της αφήγησης, το αφηγηματικό επίπεδο και τη λειτουργία των ένθετων μυθικών αφηγήσεων. Στη συνέχεια, αναζητούμε τη σημασία του μύθου στην ελληνική αρχαιότητα και ειδικότερα στα έπη του Ομήρου. Ακόμη, παρουσιάζονται βασικές πτυχές του Ομηρικού Ζητήματος στην προσπάθεια καθορισμού του κειμένου της Ιλιάδας στο οποίο εντοπίζουμε τις μυθικές αφηγήσεις. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια προσπάθεια εξέτασης των μυθικών αφηγήσεων που λέγονται από ήρωες του ιλιαδικού έπους και έχουν παραδειγματική λειτουργία. Η εξέταση των μυθικών αφηγήσεων, οι οποίες διακρίνονται σε εσωτερικές και εξωτερικές, περιλαμβάνει την ανάλυση της δομής τους, την ανάδειξη της παραδειγματικής τους λειτουργίας, τον εντοπισμό πιθανών παρεμβάσεων του ποιητικού υποκειμένου, καθώς και την επίδραση που ασκούν στον αποδέκτη τους. Το κεφάλαιο αυτό ολοκληρώνεται με την εξαγωγή γενικών συμπερασμάτων που αφορούν τις πτυχές των μυθικών αφηγήσεων που αναφέρθηκαν παραπάνω. | el_GR |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The aim of the present M.A. dissertation is to examine the mythical narratives in the Homer’s Iliad focusing primarily on their paradigmatic nature. The Iliad is examined as a narrative text. In the introduction specific reference is made to the narrator, the narratee, the narrative level, and the function of embedded mythical narratives. I then turn to the meaning of “mythos” in Greek antiquity and especially in the Homeric Epics. In addition, certain aspects of the Homeric Problem are presented with a view to clarifying the narratological approach of the Iliadic text in which we find the mythical narratives. In the second chapter I analyse the mythical narratives which are uttered by the heroes of the Iliad and which have paradigmatic function. The examination of these narratives, which are divided into internal and external narratives, includes the analysis of their structure, their paradigmatic function, the examination of the possible interventions of the poet, as well as their impact on the narratee. In the final section I put forward certain conclusions with regard to the function of mythical narratives. | el_GR |
